People saying the fa Cup, would you really be happy for us to stay in the championship, probably get points deductions for ffp breaches, lose all our best players and be financially fckd to the point where we could end up being a middle of the road championship club for years to come? We can think about trophies when we have re established ourselves in the prem. As sad as it is, money is everything in football now and the long term future of my club is far more important that a trophy.

My final point on the pen. Even if it was (it 100% wasn't), then people say that decisions balance out over a season. We had blatant pens in other games not given, so fck em I say! -

100% disagree. In real time I screamed at my tele shouting you diving t*at (Ballard not my tele), as I was convinced he'd dived. I've watched it back many times, and even a slowed down replay and I'm still 100% convinced its a dive. Hamza touches his shoulder, there is no push or pull. If he'd pulled him them how did he fall forwards? It was a pathetic theatrical dive to try and win his team a pen in the last second. Cant blame him for it, most players would do the same -
Cant believe anyone would choose winning the fa Cup over promotion, given that we would be in a dire situation financially in we don't go up. Winning the fa Cup would be nice. Rotting in the championship for the foreseeable future would be disgusting.

In certain positions we don't have depth like wingers and centre mids. We have loads of strikers and centre backs but little options in other areas.

It is brutal this division. 8 more games than the Premier league, serie a and la liga. 12 more than bundesliga. With our injuries, small squad and the same players having to play every game, it's understandable why a few have looked jaded recently. Add in the cup run as well and it takes its toll. Another reason why it would be better if games were a little more comfortable than tonight as then we can take the likes of KDH off and give them a bit of a rest.
-
Might not be a bad shout. Doyle was decent tonight but with Hull being strong and quick in the wide areas, I'm not sure if Justin would be better suited. I don't trust Doyle defensively, especially against pace.
-
Desperately need him back. Its not even for his defending we need him, its getting the ball forward quicker and breaking the lines. We always seem more calm and composed when he plays. Real lack of control in the last 2 games when he was unavailable
-
Isn't getting talked about much, but I thought he was poor tonight. Got into some good positions in the final 3rd at times and his final ball was terrible. Sloppy at times and also looked tired and leggy, which is understandable given he's one of our only fit midfielders and is been expected to play 90 mins every games except the cup. Hes been our main man most of this season and we really need him back to his best in these last 10 games.

If our final 10 games are anything like this one, LCFC are genuinely going to make me ill. That was a truly horrible watch tonight. -

Bit harsh, I thought Yunus had a good game as well. Doyle was good first half with some really good passes. KDH must be knackered, cos hes just not been himself recently. He was poor tonight. -
They surely can't keep getting the luck they've had so far this season. I know they say you create your own luck but they have had some serious luck this season. Taking nothing away from what they've achieved but at some point, their luck will run out.

Find it mad how many are saying its a blatant pen. Hand on the shoulder? Yes. Push? No Pull? No Anything at all to actually make him go down? No. Blatant dive. You can touch an opposition player without it being a foul. If that's a pen, you'd be giving several every game. Every time a set piece goes into the box and someone goes down, it would be a pen. We were shit. Could argue we got lucky. Doesn't mean our own fans should be saying we should have had a pen against us when we clearly shouldn't. -

What game did you watch? He'd hit the deck before Hamza made any contact. One of the worst dives I've ever seen. Can't blame him for trying though in the last second of the game -

He was poor but glad he didn't get done by the blatant dive at the end. Should have been booked for that, the big lump! -

Big win but that was a tough watch. Against half decent side, we lose that. Against sunderland with Clarke and Roberts, we probably lose that. 3 points though but we have got to be a million times better than that against Hull -
Please do enlighten us with your deep insight into the first half...

All season I've been saying, with the way we play, that once we get a goal ahead, it should bring the opposition out and leave gaps for us to exploit and it rarely works out like that. Get a goal ahead and allow the opposition to gain control and confidence and get back into the game. I just don't understand it. We look so nervous and have been so sloppy in possession. Just glad we got a goal cos before the goal, it was looking like another frustrating night with the chances we missed.

I'd say that is an abomination when 2 of them "soft fouls" (nowhere near a foul) were given when we were in on goal. He's been poor. -
The win is the most important thing here but I feel we're going to need to improve 2nd half if we are going to get it. Started well but we've been poor since we scored and allowed Sunderland back into the game. Little control and sloppy in possession. Mads needs to sort his kicking out, 3 times in that half he just kicked it out for a throw.

Some were saying this ref is meant to be good. Utter Shite!

First goal important tonight. We get it and we win. They get it and it could be another frustrating game trying to break down an 11 man defence. -
It's Ndidi who may be back next week not ......

Yeh savage was terrible for it as well whenever he was on commentary. How can you be a pundit/commentator and not know how to say players names. Bizarre -
I think it's a good question. Rudkin gets a lot of stick, and rightly so for the most part, but how much power does he actually have? When it comes to signing players/not signing (eg Sensi) is this kind of thing solely down to Rudkin or is he being given the shit end of the stick as in he's no budget to work with? The answer is, nobody knows. We know very little as to the day to day running and who's in charge of what. Failure to sack Rodgers though, lands firmly at Tops door. Many on here said that Rudkin didn't particularly like Rodgers and was keen to get rid of him but it was Tops decision to stick with him. If Top has lost a bit of interest and focus with LCFC but wants to stay in charge, he'd be better bringing in some new faces to deal with the day to day running of the club but no doubt he'll stick with what he's got.
