Wish JJ well - as others have said he has never reached the levels from before his injury. He, like many others, had a poor season last year so a fresh start for all is for the best. Great to see we’ve finally got good at letting players go for good money. Would have snapped your hand off if offered £20m for Mcateer and JJ at the start of the window.

The only position that we are overloaded is full back. IMO we could afford to lose Woyo and either Justin or Kristensen before replacing any. As things stand we need a centre mid and centre forward. After that it’s one in one out.

I’ve been thinking this - might not even be injured at all. If a player suffered an impact injury in training there would be nothing to hide. Hopefully it was just an easy answer to give when questioned and in fact he’s just not being risked.

PSR forces clubs to sell their best players up the chain to those who generate more revenue. It was brought in to keep the “bigger” clubs at the top. Whilst it exists, the Liverpool’s, Chelsea’s, Man Utd’s will be fine and everyone else will suffer.

Ricardo will make a huge difference if he’s available. Need him to invert though, he’ll break down if asked to charge up and down the pitch. I don’t think BEK plays if close to move. Ayew in the 10, Daka up front and Evans on the bench. We need a response after last week. To some it might feel too early for a must win but I think this is - for morale more than anything.

I don’t think it’s a pen, the shot was hit with power and took a deflection on route. At normal speed the defenders action is a normal one. His arm is by his side so therefore in a natural position. My issue with VAR is that whatever decision was made it’s not a clear and obvious error. What should have happened there is the ref gives a corner and the VAR tells him if he needs to review it so he can make his own mind up. I’ve always said the replays should be normal speed, slow motion always makes everything look worse. Whatever happened, it’s no surprise to see an American owned club given a decision like this - especially on opening weekend. Football as we know it in this country is ruined and it will be an American franchise model in our lifetimes.

We've lost Vardy who whilst his legs weren’t what they were still had the non-league mindset of being up for every game. Whilst Coady and Ndidi hadn’t perhaps delivered on the pitch, they were still big characters and we haven’t replaced them. Going to be a big ask but feel like we need to ship Faes, JJ, Winks, Soumare and Daka out and bring in a centre back, 2 x CM’s, 2 x CF’s and a direct replacement for BEK assuming he goes too. Lots to get done.

With how fickle footballers are now, as long as he’s getting paid and his commute isn’t affected too much I don’t think he would care. He won’t be getting on Forests bench by the end of the window. To think we might not be able to attract Forests 4th choice striker shows how far we’ve fallen 😭😭😭😭

Leftback to make inside runs high to create space for Stephy. This is what it looks like we’ve tried to do but can’t with Jannik at the back.

Transfer window needs shutting prior to the season starting. We are currently in an awful position. Started well and then went behind to a goalkeeping howler - let’s not forget that. What annoyed me from there is that in a low 3-5-2 block the best way to get through them is to double up on their wingbacks. Both kept Stephy and Abdul quiet. Why JJ was coming in field I’ll never know. When we got it back to 1-1 we needed patience, we were rushing our work and not manipulating the ball better. Their winner is a shocker. If pushing for the win the one thing you can’t do is leave yourself open. Great ball from their left wb but there should not have been the space for him to play it in to. Overall really disappointing and hopefully a wake up call to our owners that we need some new blood.

We will see a better Soumare today assuming Winks is the 6 and Bouba is the 8. hes not disciplined enough to play as a 6 but can be a powerhouse further forward. Really hope he has a good game today
