Anyone but Ward Choudhury Faes Okoli Kristensen Winks Soumare Bilal BDCR Daka Buonenotte If we get the ball at any point, Choudhury inverts freeing Bilal. If that doesn’t work get enough players sent off that game gets abandoned

I don’t think it’s entitled to demand that players on Premier League wages do the basics of football right. We did amazingly well over a 5/6 year period but it has gone to absolute shit since

Choudhury

Shit just got real

Enough is enough. if we have any intention of staying up we need to be signing a minimum of 5 players in January. I don’t want to see Ward, Justin, Vestergaard, Coady, Skipp or Ayew starting again. We need 2 defenders, a DM, left sided attacker and striker through the door as soon as possible. That was appalling today and the only slight positive I can take from it is that the subs did ok when they came on. I really hope RVN is taking the paint off the walls in there. Schoolboy stuff at times and punished by one of the only teams who had been worse than us this season to this point. Horrendous day and one we need to get over quickly. Merry ****ing Christmas.

We’ve just got to deal with Cunha if he plays, can’t dwell on the fact that he shouldn’t be. I would go with: Mads (Jakub if not fit) JJ Vestergaard Okoli Kristensen Winks Soumare Buenanotte Bilal BDCR Vardy Subs: GK, Faes, Coady, Skipp, Choudhury, Mcateer, Ayew, Mavididi, Daka

He’s injured again, too much of a risk.

I rated him at Norwich, pacey and gets stuck in. Part of his problem at Everton was being moved from right back to centre back to left back - never nailed a place down. Can see him being eyed up as our LB who moves into a three (albeit being right footed) IMO who we sign in defence will determine if we stay up or not. We do need someone to take control of our back 4. These links to youngsters concern me as they are playing in an inferior league so hard to judge their ability. Wonder whether a loan offer for Tomori or Dier are viable?
-
Biggest problem with that window was starting with Perez and Sharky as our only options on the RW, letting them both go out on loan and replacing with Tete who barring one good game was terrible. If we had held on to Perez we stay up imo.

Saints appointing the ex-Roma manager Juric. Don't know much about him but having a read up on him he appears to be a risk.
-
I’ve got a feeling his loan will end in Jan. don’t think he suits Ruuds way of playing and Brighton may need the ££
-
I wouldn’t be opposed to Vardy getting booked on Sunday. The realist in me says we won’t get anything Boxing Day regardless so may as well get his suspension out of the way. Get Skipp and Ayew to get booked Boxing Day to miss the City game too whilst we’re at it
-
Naturally hoping Mads was just a tweak and they’ve got to it before it’s done any damage. If not, I would go with Jakub. Above all else, we need to know if he’s capable at this level. Ward is going in the summer regardless and I would be amazed if no one snaps Mads up. A run of games here would help us understand the level he is at.

This. Decent player who is sadly only available for about 5 games a season. Will end up back at Celtic with Edouard
-
Looks like 12 players in that line up to me! Edit: misread it!
-
Priorities are RB, CB and LW. If we can ship out Ward/Iversen (or both), Thomas, Choudhury and/or Mcateer on loan they would need replacing. Could mean at least 6 come in. Edouard will go back so have space for one PL loan and two from abroad. We are going to need to strengthen our best 11 if we want to avoid the drop
-
I never have and never would leave a game early - which is simply my preference. Even if we get a tonking, I feel the need to see it through to the end as to me that’s what supporting your club is. If the games tight, it could be the support that gets the team over the line - the 12th man as they say. Nothing against those who leave early, I could just never do it
-
He needs a full season in the Championship imo. Last season was his breakthrough, had a couple of injuries and never nailed down a starting spot. We need to get him a loan next season where he is playing every week to help with his physicality and build his confidence. With regards to best position, I personally think it’s from the left. From the right he never seems sure what to do. Seems a good lad and wouldn’t rule him off just yet. Worth remembering that Enzo and RVN have played him whilst Cooper didn’t - might tell us all something!
-
Can’t see this happening. Whilst it would be nice to welcome one of our own back, I can’t see him fitting in to our system. The only position he could fit into is as a number 10 which would impact the roles of Bilal and Buenanotte. Would rather sign an out and out winger

Lots of positives to take from today. Great fighting spirit and played some good stuff at times. Both Brighton goals were avoidable and with some better decision making earlier in the game we could have won it. All the subs did well when they came on and RVN should be seeing now where we need to add in January. Good signs so far, on to Newcastle! -
BDCR and Buenanotte for Ayew and Mcateer. Hopefully Winks is fit to play with Skipp assuming Ndidi is out. Got a feeling RVN will bring Faes back in for this one.

Can see us signing him now and him staying at Leuvren until the end of the season. Not a position we need filling now but can see Wilf moving on in the summer
-
Following RVN’s comments about Daka I don’t see us going in for another striker in Jan. I think he’ll go with Patson, Vardy and Ayew as our 3 options up top with Edouard being sent back to Palace. That leaves us with RB, CB and left wing as our priorities. We have been linked with a couple of RBs already and can see us signing one on a permanent with Ricardo being the other option when fit. This would leave VK and JJ as LB moving into a 3 when in possession in his system CB is a must. I think a loan is most sensible option here. I would be looking at Tosin, Maguire, Mings or possibly Dier if any are available. All better than what we have. There is the lad who is out of contract at PSV which RVN must have his eye on. Also Nelson to come back in the summer. The LW dream would be the return of Barnes. If Newcastle want rid they may accept around £25m to get him off the books. Failing that I can see Ruud looking around Europe as can’t see any value apart from Barnes in England.
