  1. With regards to system, I am surprised we have swapped the roles of the fullbacks. JJ has played in a back 3 for us before and Kristensen has been used as a wingback for both his national side and Bologna last season. This would allow JJ to tuck in, VK to bomb on and Bilal playing from the left to invert and play alongside Buonanotte as two 10’s. Seems like it solves 3 problems in one go.
  2. Needs to be the same team. Got a feeling he’ll bring Ayew in however I believe our best chance of success coincides with Bilal and Buonanotte starting together. If ayew has to start, play him instead of Mavididi
  3. I’m all for giving players a chance but this lad looks like a clone of Amartey and Ahmed Musa. Got to be better out there surely!
  4. I’d go with: Stolarcyzk BDCR Faes Coady Thomas Skipp Winks Mcateer Buenanotte Alves Daka Give Monga some minutes from the bench.
  5. This is interesting timing. i would guess that the claim being made would factor in future losses therefore meaning we as a business could be paid the settlement incrementally. I was also imagine that the helicopter was owned by King Power and therefore could be classed as an LCFC loss if used within football business. If we successfully sued the manufacturer and the settlement was paid annually to us (via King Power) this would go on our balance sheet affecting PSR. Could the EPL and EFL have got wind of this and are trying to hit us hard ahead of the conclusion of the case?
  6. Great post and I agree with your suggestion for our strategy going forward. The only point I would challenge is that the clubs mentioned in your first paragraph are doing ok but I don’t see a lot of ambition from them. Their model keeps their head above water but isn’t going to enable them to challenge the elite. In Forests case, they are having an amazing season and have built a great squad. The reality is that both centre backs and MGW will be sold in the next year or two and they will have to work hard to replace them in order to stay challenging. My issue with PSR is that it kicks teams down as they start to move forward. All of those teams mentioned have and will continue to lose their best players in order to meet rules that simply aren’t fair for competition.
  7. Any manager would have wanted assurances about what we can spend due to the obvious frailties in our squad. RVN has publicly said before that January and the summer were both discussed during negotiations. If he has been lied to I wouldn’t blame him for walking. We would then have a situation where the last three managers (excluding Cooper) have all been lied to about transfer budgets. Not a good look and would severely hinder us attracting managers and players in the future.
  8. How is it right that there is one window mid-season to sign/sell players and right in the middle of that window is when the PL announce PSR status. If we had known our stance in Dec we could have done business by now
  9. I’m still fuming about the Guimares foul on Soumare early in our 0-0 draw at the end of relegation season. Was a stonewall red card about 5 mins in, if we had gone on to win that game we would have stayed up
  10. Regardless of whether he’s good enough, surely we wouldn’t let someone leave without someone lined up to come in…. Especially in a position we’re struggling in….. surely…..?!?
  11. They’ll hit us hard if it’s us. This whole thing is so frustrating. It’s actually making me fall out of love with the game. All I want is a competitive league with a level playing field. Shouldn’t be too much to ask for
  12. Stolarcyzk Choudhury Faes okoli Thomas Skipp Winks BDCR Ayew Alves Daka
  13. Ruud needs to demand bids in for a new right back tonight. Selecting him is going to relegate us.
  14. I’m reserving judgement until RVN has got some of his players in. It sounds a lot but with a new RB, CB, LM and ST we will be able to play the way Ruud wants. We were let down today but 3 or 4 poor performances. Upgrade those players and we have a chance.
  15. RB RB RB RB RB CB LM ST We need to make sure we have enough right backs so Justin never gets near the stadium again.
  16. Anyone considered we might buy him rather than loan him?
  17. RVN said at the presser about using own network. Could he have asked Rooney about championship players? Might know Carrick through Utd links? If link is true and fee is accurate, it’s not a massive gamble. As already mentioned, worst case we have our championship striker for next season.
  18. Literally the worst signing we could make.
  19. If we were to sign a more clinical left winger to play with Buonanotte and Bilal I could see that working. We looked very dangerous against city when we got it to stick in the final third
  20. It’s the home of the cowboys… he might fit in
  21. Had a look at obligatory YouTube comp. Very hard to judge due to standard of the league however he certainly looks big, strong and can shift. His finishing looked varied and his hold up play was impressive. This was a 7 min video in an inferior league so hope we’ve been monitoring him a while if interest is genuine.
  22. Last Musa we had was decent….
