  1. Are buy back clauses beneficial to anybody but the selling club & If they were banned would it be bad for football? I feel like they really shouldn't be a thing but I might be missing something that actually makes them beneficial to the game rather than just convenient for Premier League / Richer teams
  2. Has anybody received their tickets for this yet? If not, any ideas when they'll be sent out?
  3. Have they mentioned the strategy yet? I've only got internet updates so unsure how we're planning to play it out, is it slog it til lunch, keep going til we're bowled out, declare at 150 up?
  4. I worked at Asda bakery for a bit as a youth and sliced a tiger bloomer for Yakubu
  5. I think this news pushes the Kane to Bayern transfer over the edge. he can’t just stand by and do nothing whilst Daniel Amartey amasses 3 major trophies in the same time period… Premier League F.A Cup Community Shield
  6. I'd agree there's loads of players with potential to get better numbers than him, but for that price and the fact that he's proven that he's capable, it's a steal.
  7. Getting Iheanacho for 8 million is an absolute steal and if that's the price we are negotiating at then I'm surprised that there's not loads of clubs lined up to match or beat that kind of offer. Guaranteed Premier League goals and assists and he barely ever started games. There's 14 to 16 squads that he would improve in that league, for that price even as a bigger club I'd buy him and start him in every League cup & F.A cup game (I realise he might turn on offer like that down personally).
  8. I would argue that if he’s going to Hull then he’s probably not the next best thing. Snobby me says that Liam Delap ain’t good enough.
  9. So happy with this, way to prove you don’t give a monkeys about the actual club / city / fans, shitty bloody website King Power is synonymous with us and our success and long may it continue!
  10. There's actually a very good reason for this called the "primary colour theory" and it's used across all sports. You don't know it but subconsciously you tend watch more attentively if a team is playing in a primary colour, hence a neutral would prefer watching Leicester than watching Swansea for example. If both teams are in a primary colour (Man Utd at home to Leicester etc.) the viewing figures rise 10% from the average. When broadcasters are choosing clips to show (good or bad) they will pretty much always make sure one team is in a primary colour to keep you watching. Blue is the most appealing for some reason and the Blue that Leicester and Chelsea wear is a lot more desirable than the blue that Man City wear hence the abundance of clips of us conceding. Most teams wouldn't notice but because we were so bad last season the amount of clips of us conceding almost doubled and now they're all over the sports news channels and I just made all of this up, can't believe you're still reading to be honest, happy Thursday.
  11. I've got this in my wardrobe at home with a big leaping cat on it
  12. If you hate Preston and Watford And playin' Stoke in the rain If you're not into West Brom If you have half a brain If you hate getting home at midnight Carrow Road, Ashton Gate Then get the wins that we hope for And we'll plan our escape
  13. Escape (The Pina Colada Song by John Terry) If you hate Preston and Watford And playin' Stoke in the rain If you're not into West Brom If you have half a brain If you hate getting home at midnight Carrow Road, Ashton Gate Then get the wins that we hope for And we'll plan our escape
  14. Ayy lads LISTEN UP! Just remember whatever happens in the other games today… FOXES NEVER QUIT 😂 couldn’t keep a straight face writing that
  15. We've really got one shot at getting this right otherwise it's mediocrity for the foreseeable. With the mass exodus that is guaranteed to occur I just hope whatever manager comes in sees it as a massive opportunity. For one year only we are capable of holding on to some genuine talent and for one year only we are capable of attracting some genuinely decent players that can take us back up.
  16. Completely in our own hands lads 👀😬
  17. I know, I did the same and I am aware of all of these things but come Monday I'll trick myself into thinking it's a 50/50 for 3 points
  18. I know full well that if the rest of our rivals lose at the weekend I'll get my hopes up on Monday night again, I don't know why I do it to myself. Instead of thinking practically about who we are playing and how good they are, all I'll think is that we are 3 points away from being in a promising position. I'm an idiot basically.
  19. No idea why but I kind of feel relieved after today, a weight has been lifted now we’re not in control. Staying up from here is a bonus / miracle… I feel better about that than I have done in the last 3 weeks
  20. Ahh, I thought I was thinking far ahead but it turns out I wasn't thinking far enough ahead! Cheers (This is occupying my thoughts 24/7 at the minute )
  21. Looking at the fixtures, are we not better off with a West Ham win tonight? 1) Keeps Man City needing to win against Leeds and then Everton in their next two 2) Keeps Arsenal in the hunt for longer and more likely to need / want a win at Forest in a couple of weeks 3) West Ham likely to be mathematically safe before they play us on the final day Unless we think we're going to overtake the Hammers should they keep losing but that's a big ask
  22. I think we go into the last day with it in our own hands, we win then we stay up. I also think West Ham will be safely in their final position by the last day, meaning that they'll finish above us even if we beat them - this plays massively into our hands. I think we will stay up.
  23. I think it looks pretty cool. My one caveat is that I hope I’ll be playing in a premier league stadium rather than a championship one
