  1. may as well put a tenner on Derby winning today as well
  2. On the bright side this should be as good as it gets for Forest in this era, yes they’ll have the excitement of CL football and may get into the early knockout stages but they’ll suffer in the league and their fans will demand to see more expansive football. Not saying they’ll fall off a cliff like we have but their deluded fans still think Liverpool see them as a main rival.
  3. Our players have already tuned out of this season , going through the motions with half arsed commitment. In normal circumstances we should be thinking we have a chance with Wolves losing their best player but unless something miraculous happens we are screwed. If Wolves lost next saturday we should be going all out to try and win at Chelsea but you just know we’ll limp to another defeat. Hate this team.
  4. The Championship might be poor but can anyone see the dross we are going to be left with getting in the spirit for coming straight back up a 2nd time. I can see mid table mediocrity next season. Too many of our fans accept crap and the club are ready to offer it up week in week out.
  5. I do fear Liverpool could quite easily score 10 when they visit us in April
  6. watching trump / starmer is a lot more entertaining
  7. If we only win one more game this season I pray it’s Forest away to drop them down to 6th
  8. It probably won’t be that toxic as we’d probably had our relegation confirmed a couple of weeks prior. Playing Ipswich means it’s a game between 2 relegated teams so probably a relaxed atmosphere. Probably can be a decent send off if organised properly
  9. All 3 promoted/doomed to relegation teams conceding 4 at home says a lot.
  10. Wolves winning would bring a sense of relief, no more ‘we’re only 2 points off safety’ The reality is we are crap ,and not just that , we have crap that don’t care playing for us.
  11. Unfortunately apathy is winning over anger. We are such soulless club in every area, we probably do need a total reset in the championship to reconnect.HOWEVER A lot of these players will still be with us next season , the ownership is drifting , stale and a lack of zeal. It’s going to be a really tough few years unless new leadership is installed.
  12. We’re a soulless entity , no one seems bothered.
  13. The season deserves a record like this
  14. Tennis Balls!
  15. LCFC determined to prove Einstein was an idiot
  16. Unless it’s a stupid kick off time like 7pm on a Sunday which i’d probably give it a miss i’d go to the games . once relegation is confirmed can’t imagine any of our games being selected unless the opposition have something riding on it
  17. So sad , i’ll always go to the games but have spent nothing at the shop , food or drink for a couple of years , in fact I have spent more at AFC Hinckley’s club shop. The whole club is a soulless entity who come out with meaningless soundbites. By the time everyone wakes up we’ll be meandering around the bottom half of the championship losing any decent young players we get. The reset can’t happen next season as we are still going to be lumbered with crap.
  18. I’ll be brave and predict 0-0 at halftime and we lose 0-2
  19. The Villa league cup semi defeat was when i was first slightly concerned but no one could’ve have forecast the drop we have had
  20. love the reaction
  21. guess you need to experience the bad times to appreciate the good times.
  22. Guess it depends how much he wants the hassle, only 14 games to go and he’ll be free of this shambles. Got to be pretty demoralising working with a team of limited talent but limitless egos and a board who were never going to give him a proper chance. That said he is probably a bit out of his depth and the lack of a back room team he trusts can’t be easy. Another masterclass from LCFC.
  23. Is crazy to think you would have to be probably at least 27 to even vaguely remember Filbert Street let alone any games or major incidents. Shame we never upgraded the stadium when they were on about moving the pitch around in the early 1990s. At least the protests were more fun, the Pleat /Shipman out protests and even the infamous Sheff Utd game though MON did make us all look mugs in the end! I’m sure i remember more games from that stadium than the KP, even now just thinking of the Liverpool games in 80 and the 3-3 in 84, Cambridge play off semi, Shrewsbury 5-2.
  24. Nothing to worry about in 2 weeks time then.
