  1. Probably just one of those moves that does not work out. He may or may or may not come good but the only way I can see him improving is with a sustained run in the team and that currently seems unlikely. Shame as I thought he might be a real asset , and he may yet be. He is not one of those players who doesn’t give a damn so i wish him well in his efforts to find a place in the team.
  2. His game management displayed a concerning lack of confidence in himself. The team has enough to get the points needed but today was such a good chance to get the first win monkey off our backs
  3. Today feels like an important day in his management of LCFC.
  4. Him and Winks appear to have a love hate relationship
  5. RIP Sol, sounded a top guy. Strange how certain players , no matter their length of time with the club, make you smile when you remember them.
  6. RIP Sven, such a calm guy , very hard to dislike, could not quite do it for either England or ourselves but the 5-1 in Germany was a truly special saturday night out in a packed pub .
  7. I just hope we give the guy a chance. Obviously it would not be good if we then don’t sign any other striker but for the player himself we appear to be getting an experienced premier league player , hard working, and probably a good influence in the dressing room. Let’s hope it works out.
  8. This team has character. Add a couple more and we stand a chance
  9. Here comes Jordan Ayew!
  10. If the club can make some good decisions with transfers in the next 2 weeks and if we only get deducted a maximum of 6 points (4 would be ideal given we are clearly guilty so have to take a hit for 22/23 season) there are signs looking at the other teams we could stay up. If is doing a lot of the heavy lifting though!
  11. Tomorrow is being treated like a free hit by the club, dangerous game as we could get walloped. Fulham next saturday is where our season starts on the assumption we have some more additions
  12. The £20m figure is surely the maximum we’ll pay based on us staying up. If we can somehow get a striker and a left back, we’ll perhaps not be the most attractive team to watch but we’ll battle hard and hope to scrape a few 1-0 shithouse wins along the way. Next week is crucial in terms of more new signings and will be the difference between 20 points or 40 or whatever is needed to stay up.
  13. As always we’ll just be mildly annoyed.
  14. In May next year we’ll look back and think it was all so obvious the season was going to be embarrassing bordering on disastrous and wonder why nothing was done to prevent us at least being competitive
  15. That’s a disgrace for a premier league club. It feel like they are happy to take all the money and offer not a lot in return. I accept that as a season ticket holder you have good and not so good seasons , that’s football, but it feels like the club just want to take our money and take advantage of our loyalty. This could quite easily be the worst season since 1977/78.
  16. Sold to Brentford £27m
  17. 7 shots (which. in reality are power puff efforts) and none on target
  18. 17th will do, anything else is a bonus
  19. £10🤣🤣 Just reminds me to switch off from football till next weekend, though that i’m typing this suggests i’ve failed🤣
  20. I hope the club do more than just a minutes applause for the Spurs game , feel it needs a montage on the screen, also not sure how tifos work etc but his part in the history of our club deserves recognition given he has passed at such a relatively young age
  21. sponsored by pac-man
  22. I guess we’ll now start to see how much flexibility we have in bringing in new players. For us to stay up we’ll probably need the best transfer window we’ve ever had. Good luck Steve! Good luck KDH
  23. As always i’ll back the new manager , he’ll probably do OK. but will OK be enough to keep us up. The bigger issue is things outside his control like points deduction, budgets, do we have to sell, finances. He could get 40 points but we still go down due the the points deduction which is ultimately down to the running of the football club
  24. We’ll win 1-0 at Forest on May 10th to guarantee survival and relegate Forest and he’ll make a rude gesture towards Forests mad owner
