Very hard to understand why he was subbed off, he's our most creative player. He's still developing, and earlier in the season appeared to lack a bit of stamina later in games, but that's not been apparent in recent games. If it is an issue, he's only 20, get him fit enough! The only other reason I can think he was taken off is if he's carrying an injury and can't manage a full game? But there's no evidence of that. And if it was the case, the club never say anything anyway. Otherwise he just had to stay on, even if he moved deeper alongside Soumare to add in the pace of Daka alongside Vardy.

I think it all goes back to the structure of the club. What is his role? How much influence does the manager have? It's been suggested that our recruitment relies heavily on the maneger, and who he brings in (Rodgers/Congerton, the Spanish guy we had before that, hadn't he worked with Ranieri at Sevilla?), and Enzo appears to have had an active role in summer 2023 when we had good recruitment, on the whole. Last summer Skipp is the one that really stands out. It surprised most of us. I suppose we thought Soumare was on the way out, Ndidi injury prone, and too much reliance on Winks. And Cooper valued EPL experience. Was Skipp Cooper's pick? If so it didn't take him long to drop him! Unfortunately Skipp doesn't appear to add much of any attribute other than being an extremely expensive squad filler. But is Glover just finding what he is told to? How much of a philosophy do we have? That surely comes from the top?

I think confidence may be a problem. But he more often than not just looks too slow in speed of thought, he doesn't see the right pass or move quick enough. You can see that extra quality in Bilal who was excellent today. We really do need another winger, with pace to get behind teams like Fatawu could. It's been said on here before, the extra width Fatawu used on right stretched the defence and really benefited the rest of the attack, including Mavididi over on the left. I really like Buonanotte but he does drift inside and doesn't leave much cover for JJ either.
