But, it wouldn't work at a higher level, and digging his players out like that could end up being his downfall.

He's been there from the beginning hasn't he? Basically from park football to the National League. Started off as co-founder and player and he's now manager and chairman... And they've just been turned over by a team two levels below in the pyramid. He's also known for demanding certain as standards, so not much of a surprise to see him going off on one. 12 promotions in 23 years apparently. He must be doing something right.

This whole sorry affair should bring into sharp relief the need for a civilian-led movement of peace. The ordinary people of every country on Earth have far more in common with each other than their respective leaderships. Worldwide protests for peace would be a welcome sight right now.

Fair point I agree that more needs to be done for existing fans. Reducing kit prices would be a start. But it doesn't mean they also can't focus on winning new fans, which is what collaborations with YouTubers like this will do. Plus, there will be a number of existing fans of the club (or also kids with parents who support Leicester) among this guy's subscribers/viewers. Collaborating with a popular YouTuber while we're out of the Premier League bubble helps keep our name in the psyche of casual football fans. Also, gaining a cult following of sorts may lead to other commercial opportunities. It is a bit cynical and I do agree the general match-going Leicester City fan could be treated with more loyalty and respect, but I also think both things can exist if they get it right.

I tell you what, I don't find the guy funny or particularly entertaining based on this one video I've seen of him. He apparently seems to be friendly with the Sidemen and their mates, but I stopped watching their videos quite a while ago. I think I'm a bit too old for that kind of content. But I did enjoy getting to see the training ground behind the scenes. And the willingness of the club to engage with YouTubers, including a player, the manager, the physio and the trainer, was actually really brilliant to see. Reaching that audience is actually quite important. Also the physio in the video is one of life's good guys, really good to see he's still working for the club.

A loan back for Barnes would be ideal. See if he can fit into Enzo's system without contributing much to Newcastle trying to square their FFP. Edit: obviously I'm thinking more next summer than this Jan

He has a bit about him this Silko Thomas doesn't he? I haven't seen anything of him but from the short time he's been here how do people think he compares to our other top prospects in similar positions (Alves, Richards, Popov, etc.)?

Oh my that is going to be something special. Imagine their fans in full 'grass' chant mode and then Vardy bags a hat-trick.

I don't know why but I get the feeling this guy is going to catch fire soon. He seems to be feeling his way into playing how Maresca wants, and being tried out in multiple positions. But I just feel as though in some game soon he's going to absolutely run the show from start to finish from whatever role he's been given.

I wonder how those cheering Tom Brady's involvement just a few short weeks ago will respond if Rooney takes them back into the obscurity of the bottom half of the table.
