  1. Ask me in 2 hours that’s the only way I’ll be able to give a straight answer!
  2. Didn’t even feel like this during 2015-16, never felt this kind of ‘all or nothing’
  3. What’s the point in trolling man just let people have proper conversations about football
  4. Of all the teams to have a champions league crunch match with
  5. Last season we seemed to have an inferiority complex, struggling to play against the big teams, this season we seem to have a superiority complex that makes us think we don’t have to turn up to beat the lower teams... don’t know which is more frustrating
  6. I used to argue the point that ‘oh their industry generates a fuch ton of money so it’s fine for the players to reap the benefits’ but actually on a purely human level it’s fuched up when you compare it to how people are struggling right now, when you say ‘hundreds of thousands of pounds a WEEK’ it sounds so ridiculous that the significance is kind of lost
  7. I’d assumed he was offside when I saw that live so it wasn’t till they replayed it that i realised what an important and impressive challenge it was!
  8. The owners are the problem, surely a takeover like this would improve things for the fans, especially with club legends backing it
  9. similarly it was a common theme during our first season back in the prem that we were always in games, just didn't manage to get the goals etc. In the end it wasn't a change of fortunes that led to the great escape it was a change of formation and a new centre back. Sooner Brighton acknowledge that the sooner they can start getting the points many seem to think they deserve
  10. The laws say nothing about reviewing the incident in slow motion 10 times, to that end technology absolutely is influencing the decision. For me I want rid of VAR simply because of the effect it has on the game - holding your breath before celebrating, milimetre calls that the technology isn’t precise enough to get right, massive delays that suck the energy out of the game. I personally didn’t have a problem with referees getting things wrong pre-VAR. They’re human and as much as we moaned we moved on pretty easily. VAR on the other hand gets talked about for the wrong reasons week in week out. Bin it, and bring it back when people know how to use it.
  11. The walk to the chippy with my dad, from the same parking spot every time. The stop-start drive home with the reaction on the radio. I miss it so much, the first time we emerge from the concourse into the ground for the first time will an emotional moment
  12. Is this guy reliable? I’d love this
  13. would feel pretty arbitrary imo, especially if you compare it to how 2016 felt. Still, wouldn't say no if for no other reason than to laugh at the rich 6
  14. I’m so nervous I don’t even care that all the pundits keep butchering ‘ineacho’s’ name okay I still care enough to post about it
  15. So Leeds have played one, have one point, and have scored 49 goals, I bet that 49-49 draw was a great advert for the premier league
  16. gonna take a while to calm down from that one lol, the semi can't come quickly enough, just please give me some hope!!
  17. We’ve literally already beaten them this season, how can you think like this?! Forfeiting an FA cup final to win a match that isn’t even make or break!!
  18. Bolton away 2014, Cardiff away 2018, obviously for very different reasons
  19. Yeah but it works both ways, we could get top 4 by scoring an offside goal that VAR would chalk off. It’s the same principle as just going with the ref, you gains and losses will even out over time. VAR doesn’t add anything imo
  20. I can't wait to have my own kids and tell them stories about the city heroes of my time... they'll hardly believe I got to see Ben Mee, Ryan Bennett and James Vaughan in the flesh
  21. Don’t forget Bolton away...
  22. Apart from his goals, his first touch when he comes short is probably the starkest improvement. That's what always peed me off in years gone by, but now he takes the ball like it's second nature, long may it continue!!
  23. I’ve just had mine mate it was delicious!!
  24. It could be the case that transitioning vardy out of the team starts with playing two up front more often. Takes much of the pressure for goals off him and helps build Nacho’s confidence at the same time. Must say I’m still surprised when I hear those stats about how many goals they get when they start together, could be the way to go now with madders and Barnes out
