Agreed, signing a 22 and 20 year old they will both need time adjusting to the premier league. Maguire Morgan Evans can help them settle down and be ready for week in week out next season.

Find it hard to believe we going 3 at the back having not tried it once all pre season! Yes players haven’t been available but why haven’t we tried it, we’ve had the midfielders available and would of been no harm playing an under 23 striker in vardys role in his absence.

Genuinely concerned if we sell him still, even if we sign these 2 centre half’s they are both young and inexperienced. Would be a gamble with The other 3 we would be left with! Small thought I had, obv Puel came in during October (I think) and we into season etc so didn’t change drastically our game. Do you think the 23s coming 2nd has anything to do with Puel getting them to play a certain way with the pressing etc as that’s how the first team appear now and he has taken pre season to implement this? Just a thought and I could be totally wrong! Also Beagleole went out to the first training camp, I wonder if that was a learning mission for him to see how first team do it so he can implement with the 23s?

Like the look of Ndukwu. Naturally gifted. The confidence to try chip the keeper I like a lot! Loan him out for season if he’s not going to be in the match day squad.

We may not have signed loads but what’s to say people that have been on loan won’t come back and be given a chance? Musa, Kaputska, Mendy. Then factor in the 3 or 4 under 23s with the first team at the minute, who knows one of them may step up and be like ‘a new signing’. I have said in another thread I would like another centre back signing regardless of Maguire situation unless there is a u23 like Knight, Johnson or Hughes ready to step up?

Not reading too much into it. A very clever tweet, non committal to any team. His agent has probably advised that as if he is getting new contract and hash tagging lcfc the it shows he is happy etc. This looks neutral and therefore can keep asking for more money where as new season #lcfc says I’m staying and therefore he doesn’t need a new contract or one with a huge rise as he appears happy. I could of course be talking rubbish but just a thought! Personally hope he signs a new contract ASAP. Only 13 days to hold onto him.
