As children, I think its fair to say, you are always falling out with others. Seeing the Trump/Musk (ok, not the best example) of two 'grown-ups' falling out is less common - or is it? I know because of family dynamics, arguments/falling out can be far more common with relatives plus, at work, you can be mixing with others you, perhaps, cannot get along with. With friends though? After all, you share more in common and should be able to work through any differences. Myself and a long time friend have had a disagreement, I'm definitely off his Christmas card list. I have to say its a situation I've not experienced since school - a very long time ago. Anyway, it'll get sorted, one way or the other. I just wondered how common it is, especially amongst friends?

Did one yesterday (4 piece ) with one of my young grandchildren. I get what you mean though, they seem to be quite rare amongst adults. I think every single one I've done though, within 10 minutes, I'm speculating that a piece must be missing because I'll be damned I can find what I'm looking for. (Not with the 4 piece one though - I hasten to add)

Computer paper. Used to get loads of this back in the day for the kids to draw on the back of. In fact, the front of any used sheets was so sparsely populated with any text/numbers, that could be used too. Thinking about it; what we're they for? The printer would dish out reams of the stuff, which would just be left lying around, filed or put in a bin before being reborn as an ideal childs drawing pad.

Wow, what beautifully manicured roundabouts, they would have looked even better in the summer and in full bloom I know there is an argument that they, and grass verges, should be left wild - as they tend to do now - so has to benefit wildlife, but if maintained like in the picture above and planted with flowers that attract pollinators, wouldn't it be a win win? Or, leave wild still but sow wild flowers in abundance. Of course another consideration these days is cost and I suspect that is the real driving reason whilst areas such as these are now neglected.

Indeed. We're a feeder club for Chelsea. Just like Southampton are a feeder club to us.

Not at all related to this but your post reminded me of a case several years ago that happened in France. A British tourist was arrested without warning on arrival there. The reason? He had joined the French Foreign Legion several years previously but decided it wasn't for him and deserted. He returned to the UK and thought no more of it. Foolishly, it didn't occur to him that going back to France on holiday wasn't a good idea. I do recall he ended up serving some time in France as a consequece.

I fear agents, well aware of our recent record on signings, contract length and loanees, will target us with offers of has-been, washed-up players they have on their books and who could get an easy gig at the end of their careers. The only thing stopping them is our DoF.

This has a precedent of course, so I understand the caution. It does beg a question however. If there are future crimes of similar gravity and the perpetrator is non white, would this be released, especially if they are looking for a suspect and need to issue a description? I do wonder, because I recall an incident where the police were asked by a pressure group, if it had been necessary to mention the colour of a suspects skin in an incident involving a mugging. If issuing a description of a wanted person, I would argue it is very relevant.

Always been a mystery to me, not just with that useless lazy trollope, but with other consistently awful players down the years. Why do they keep being picked to start? Are they outstanding in training and keep getting a 'chance' based on that? It isn't always because there no alternative either. I know we all see things differently, but players like Soumare are terrible and mostly lazy to all who watch I would suggest.

Championship 25/26 Fixtures - Thurs 26 June

Relegation always really hits home when the fixtures are published, I feel. That, and noticing far fewer media, photographers etc, in the ground on match days. -
First thing my wife knitted for me when she first learnt to knit. In my defence, I cycled a long way to work and it was bloody cold in the winter, so it was welcome(ish). Balaclavas are making a comeback with youngsters I note. Seen some young lads wearing them and they also have their hoods up over their heads. They must be really feeling the cold. Strange thing is though, everyone else are in T shirts/summer clothes.

Maddison spent £1700 for a box just like this. -
Speaking of plastic and rockets; I've only just discovered that NASA have information on their website regarding making plastic pop bottle rockets. Loads of stuff on YouTube too, of course. However, the NASA site also has a plastic bottle flight simulator You can use it to calculate weight coefficients, drag, thrust, different fuel (water) and so on.
