https://global247news.com/2020/12/31/kyle-walkers-christmas-party-in-london-causes-premier-league-covid-infections/amp/ Football fans across the world are furious at reports that Manchester City’s star defender has brought about the spreading of Coronavirus throughout the Premier League. It’s being reported that Walker held a Christmas party in London despite the region being in Tier 4. Attended by several star premiership players the party has caused many New Year matches to be canceled as well as causing at least 11 infections through the Manchester City squad. Premier League fans have been left very disappointed at the cancellations as the majority in the UK are now advised to say at home due to lockdown regulations. To say they are least pleased with Kyle Walker is an understatement with many calling for a full FA and Premier league investigation into the reports. The news was broken from Spain by football correspondent Adam Brown who presents warts and all football show known as ‘ football with brownie’ Brown himself calling for the star to be dropped from international football if an investigation rules the behavior of Walker proves to be founded. It’s understood that England’s football authorities are set to investigate in the New Year, whilst Manchester City themselves are attempting to keep a lid on matters, although Everton’s board of directors have also lodged a complaint.

The boy has got the Riyad’s about him. Get him in!

Leicester - No one got me off my seat more than Esteban Cambiasso even in his short stint here. He had absolutely everything. Non-Leicester - Lothar Matthaus. Absolute genius of a midfielder, a general and completely underrated in my opinion.

Beautiful piece of play. Where he could really take his game would be to develop the Yaya’s or the Viera’s about him and continue the run in full stride as opposed to slowing down to check back. Add that to his game and he’d be an absolute world beater.

Fergie also had the choice to either sell Evans or Pique as they had an abundance of defenders. Well, we know what happened there! Even the very best get some decisions wrong but Fergie would argue that he was vindicated as Evans went on to play under for him as a starter for many years. I am, however, in agreement with you that we need to give him a prolonged run if we are to see the best out of him. After all, Guardiola doesn’t just sniff around players if they don’t have something about them. My only concern is that he was bought in as a ball playing defender, similar to that of our Harry, yet there were various times yesterday when he had the ball at his feet and misplaced simple passes. To his credit, they were forwarded and low passes as opposed to sideways or long-ball distribution that we’ve become accustomed to with many of our centre backs over recent history. Also worth noting is that he does seem to have noticeably lost a yard of pace and he is only 30 which, by all accounts for a defender is of no age at all. I believe that the West Brom fans of yesteryear emphasised the same. Maybe his injuries have caught up with him which is a crying shame as we all know how reliable a defender he has been over the last decade in the Premier League. He may not score 8’s and 9’s every game but we were told by fans of his past clubs to expect steady performances. I think he will only get to know his team mates and consequently grow in confidence and standing within the team by being selected and by being given a run of games so he can show that even though he may have lost a yard, he more than makes up for this with his awareness, anticipation and leadership. He will learn to adapt his game if he hasn’t already done so. He just needs the manager to show him some faith and for us fans to get behind him even if he doesn’t convince you quite yet. We only want players to succeed here and for what we paid for him, I think it is a relatively low risk signing that can only really be of a benefit to us. Good luck for the rest of the season Jonny!

Absolutely agree. For someone who’s natural position is on the wing, I thought he found the pocket of space in between the midfield and defence really well. You could see clearly that he knows how to weight a pass well and that was evident when he played it deftly into Demarai who tried a neat glance which resulted in the Southampton defender nearly scoring an own goal. I was really impressed with him and his ability to be creative from the middle of the park. I can see Puel using him in this position more and more as the season progresses and it’ll provide some competition for Maddison too!

I thought Ghezzal played well in his short time on the pitch in the No.10 role. He created and played some lovely passes.

A Manchester United fan walks into a travel agent and asks if they have any recommendations for a nice weekend away. The travel agent replied, "Well you can't beat Brighton this time of year!”

Sorry if this has been asked already but where is everyone drinking tonight? I’m at the Holiday Inn city centre and heading towards the stadium soon. Or is the choice of watering hole in the city centre somewhere? Thank you

He also plays as a CDM so he may be used alongside Ndidi as a two-man holding midfield? It would explain why we are going for both Soyuncu & Benkovic. Just a thought.

It would go a long way to explaining why so many clubs have steered away from signing him as most on here felt a free signing was a no brainer. In most likelihood, he’s probably getting a hefty signing-on bonus too. Couple that with an agent fee, it doesn’t seem as appealing as it did initially. -
Ha, just beat me to it!
