Agree with the the first bit, don't agree with the second bit. A more competent manager wouldn't have needed as much help as Marti does. Seems a nice guy but clearly doesn't have the skillset for a club like Leicester in its current state. Deeper problems need to be resolved, but a more experienced manager would get a much better tune out of this squad. (Not hard - I've never seen us this unmotivated or disorganised since I started supporting us in 1992)

I'm pretty sure we're in a transfer embargo. We should be focusing all efforts on getting more out of all the expensive assets we have. That effort would almost certainly be improved by hiring a different manager. If we can't afford to sack Marti just do a job swap with the U21 or women's manager.

He’s clearly one of the best players in the squad. He's also probably a complete bellend - plenty of footballers are, but still deliver. We can’t know everything that happens behind the scenes and for all we know he's genuinely done something unforgivable, but one of the fundamentals of management is getting the most out of your best players. I don’t think we’ve ever had less inspirational or less effective man‑managers than RVN or Cifuentes. A stronger manager would have handled this situation properly, and he’d probably be playing.

Could still be a second half sub. Daka needs a strike partner and I feel like an out of position Mavididi could be more of a threat than Ayew. Christ, we are shit.

This is a bit of a stretch, as both O'Neill and Pearson had stints at clubs around the size of Leicester before managing us. Plus, plenty of highly rated managers we got from the smaller teams / lower leagues flopped - Martin Allen, Peter Taylor, Ian Holloway. In our current predicament, I think we should be looking at somebody experienced with a no2 ready to take over in 18 months. We need somebody who knows this level inside out and is going to command respect from a dressing room that needs straightening out. Nigel Pearson would obviously be a strong option if he's healthy. Failing that, Tony Mowbray could fit what we need well.

They stopped doing it for ex-players months ago, after loads of criticism to every post they did. Makes sense to just stop completely rather than risk upsetting a player / their fans because they're not on the top tier. eg would you wish Muzzy Izzet a happy birthday but not Neil Lennon? Emile Heskey but not Steve Claridge? Becomes a headache for something that is also a complete waste of time

Prob just support the phoenix club set up after we disappeared. I've not lived in Leicester for 20 odd years, so supporting an existing Leics non league team I have no previous affiliation to would feel weird. In an ideal world my kids will eventually get into football (no sign yet...). If they did we could get into all supporting a local club where we live in Oxfordshire. Oxford City I guess, maybe Abingdon United or Didcot Town. Oxford United feel too close to Leicester... I'd feel dirty supporting them

Root‑and‑branch change is needed to stop us being the dysfunctional shell of a football club we’ve become. But short‑term improvement is absolutely possible. With a proper disciplinarian in charge, we’ve got the foundations of a mid-table side and young players who could actually grow the club. Stick with soft‑touch management that never fixes the rotten culture and we’ll be relegated next season - or this season if a points deduction goes badly. If Pearson's fit, get him in. He seems like a broken man. His team play like they're broken. Not sure if he's just out of his depth or if this dressing room is beyond saving regardless of the manager, and we as fans just need to wait out all of the contracts. I still have a bit of optimism in me that hopes it's the former and a change of manager to a disciplinarian type will bring something out of the players we have.

The best right back I've ever seen play for the club, but that player is just a memory now. It's sad to see him put in a performance like that. Can't really play at a good level any more, but obviously can't now play at all midweek after playing at a weekend. He's been paid handsomely but at the same time it's injuries he's suffered being a great pro for the club that have left him a shadow of his former self.

Nobody would pay him anything like what he's on here, though. I suspect he'll go on a loan to the top tier in Italy, France or Spain, do well then get a permanent move in the summer. The problem with Winks hasn't been his ability - he just signed to play for Enzo Maresca and has had the hump since we replaced him with three chancers. No excuse for downing tools, though.

There's an argument towards this, but I'm a bit worried our young players are over hyped. The U21s have finished the last three seasons 10th, 20th and bottom.
