I think Calvert-Lewin is going to West Ham. He used to be a real threat... for about a season roughly 5 years and 10 injuries ago. The only time he has ever hit double figures was under Ancelotti. Outside of those two seasons his goal returns are 1, 4, 6, 5, 2, 7, 3.

Don't know much about how good he is but seems to tick 3 boxes in being young, inexpensive and versatile. Would be helpful if he was good at football as well. Fingers crossed

Near the top of the list of players I'd like to keep - I wouldn't want to sell for less than £20m. At the same time, it is also true it's a position we seem to have disproportionate depth. Disappointing but it could be sensible in our current predicament to sell and invest in other positions.

It's not like we have a history for it. Unless forgetting somebody obvious, I think the only manager in my lifetime who played for us was Rob Kelly (and both his playing and managing stints were pretty brief). It's far from the most important characteristic needed, but maybe it wouldn't be a bad thing to appoint somebody with ties / affinity to the club.

Loved these, were the way my dad introduced us to football. I'm sure that's the case for many (/most) supporters my age. Can only imagine the reason not to do it now is costs. Presumably the club has to foot some significant security, staffing and running costs to open up the King Power for a youth team game.

Not heard of most of the players out of contract but I'm sure there's some gems in there. Of the players I've heard of and would realistically join (sorry KDB!), I think Tom Carney, Josh Brownhill and Jeff Schlupp make the most sense. Not sure we need old players on the decline. Hopefully we have a summer like the last relegation when I'd never heard of Mavididi, Fatawu or Hermansen but they quickly established themselves.

I think our loan business has been decent really. Edouard has been awful but other recent loans (Buonanotte, Fatawu, Yunus, Doyle) have had positive impacts.

Would be happy to see him leave. Similar to Matt Upson's tenure here - a player with some qualities but massively living off their reputation built when they were a younger player.

I live in Oxford, Brannagan is a hero here. Friends who support them have long wondered why he's not been pinched by a bigger club. Came through the Liverpool academy and has been easily the best player at Oxford for years and years. Club captain and runs the local kids academies during the summers. We signed Matt Elliott from Oxford at the same age. Different position and football has changed significantly, but still!

He'd done that around 200 times before this season as well. I like having him at the club but his best days seem a long way behind him now. He's well settled here and I can't see him getting a significantly better offer elsewhere.

If he couldn't get a better club when available for free last summer, what's he done in the last season to persuade one to pay £9m for him?

Priority has to be a striker. No idea who that would be - ideally under 25, proven to score goals in the Championship or equivalent foreign division. I wouldn't be surprised if we went in for Cameron Archer from Southampton. Fans would likely be underwhelmed but I think if supported by Bilal, Fatawu and BEK he'd score loads.

Would like to see him stay here - more than useful in the Championship, and would have been better in our midfield this season than Soumare.

If we can get him, Dyche is the obvious answer. Could win promotion and keep us up, lives locally and is ruthless enough to cut through the bell ends at the club. We need wholesale changes at board and player level too, though.

No "all of a sudden" about it, I've absolutely hated Wout Faes for years! Can't wait for the day he leaves the club. Agree that Vestegaard is rubbish, but IMO he's still better than Faes or Coady. TBF I'd be happy seeing whoever out best U21 centre back is ahead of them all.

I know nothing about their real life personalities, but they've been less shit on the pitch than Coady/Faes or Soumare... I said 'better' at first but that seemed too much praise! Would love to see the back of the lot of them.
