  1. Is this the new one? I looks at it but no way am I entering it. Undulating is an understatement!
  2. Ran with an Ipswich fan at parkrun today. He feels that we’re too good to go down and that if we run up to play today we could get something…..I politely disagreed with him.
  3. Montaigne - I’m a fantastic wreck I'm a fantastic wreck Wrecking everyone around me I'm a fantastic wreck And if I'm a little bit Deranged would you not Estrange me or change me And if I can write your name can I be Angry and nasty And if nothing else can change me And I am just this way then Would you love me?
  4. Is anyone running the Derby 10K in 2 weeks time? I’m so out of shape but entered again as the t shirt is so nice (apart from the DCFC badge on one of the sleeves!)
  5. At least I can go to bed now and either wake up pleasantly surprised or not shocked in the slightest. G’night
  6. Last time we took the lead in an evening kick off, I dozed off all warm and happy but woke up to sheer disbelief! Somehow I need to stay awake and pray! C’mon City
  7. This may seem a little dramatic however football has long been the only escape for my now 16 year old. She had a horrendous time at secondary school and the one incentive for her not to give up was going to watch Leicester. She’s known no different for the last 13 years and has created some amazing friendships that have kept her going. Am I happy with the way the club is going? No. Do I enjoy the time I have with my daughter (except away games as I buy her ticket, drive her there, buy her food then she goes off with her friends to stand elsewhere!)? Absolutely yes and I won’t give that up to try and prove a point. She knows that her season ticket is a privilege but there were days where I nearly didn’t have a daughter so bring on the trips to Plymouth and Exeter if relegation happens.
  8. I’m at Cardiff watching Cardiff v Luton and I’d forgotten as to how poor L1 is. Can’t wait for next season……
  9. MSK Osteopath -Avin Patel. When I lived near Lutterworth I’d see him at his Wigston Clinic but most recently I’ve been to Scraptoft. He’s a genius. https://www.avinpatel.co.uk
  10. Whereabouts are you? I can recommend an incredible osteopath. He’s based in Scraptoft but has clinics throughout Leicester. He’s got me through several marathons and ultras injury free.
  11. Well imagine my surprise this morning. Teenager went with her dad and I stayed at home. I fell asleep around half time all happy thinking that my Leicester were back and had some fight in them. And then my alarm went off this and I saw the notifications. Wow. How on earth did it all go so wrong……
  12. Just trying to be optimistic and convincing myself that I do actually want to go today!
  13. I’m going for a post La Manga part 2. Blues fans taking the absolute p##s out of us, away fans 100% backing the lads and we sneak a victory and go home happy.
  14. But also remember that people go for different reasons. My teen has gone with her dad, without football over these last few years I dread to think of what could’ve been for her. Not matter how shit Leicester are, it’s her safe place. I chose not to go today because I’m a lazy ass however if her dad couldn’t have gone, I’d have gone with her and sucked it up.
  15. Absolutely agree with you.
  16. One of this big differences were these 2 substitutions: Them - Wright for Simms Us - Daka for Ayew Up until that point I felt that we were two relatively evenly matched (dreadful at times) teams. The lack of balls that this manager has is staggering. Every single thing is so predictable and that adds to this overwhelming frustration. I also feel that they have a current fan base that have no idea of their history, no idea who plays for them but are simply jumping on the ‘lampard revolution’ band wagon. Some utterly vile creatures out there today.
  17. Motivation is returning! One pyramid session, one rolling 800’s session, one pilates class and my favourite, one reformer pilates class so far this week! Hoping to trial a new running club tomorrow night, parkrun Saturday and an easy run on Sunday. I’d forgotten what it was like to actually enjoy exercising
  18. I trusted the teenager with my bank card and she was on it at 8am
  19. There was one left a row or two in front
  20. Scrap that, another seat appeared so off to Wrexham on a school night
  21. Showing as 2 seats left but when I add to basket it’s not available
  22. From watching Nelson these last few games it’s clear to see that he is learning and his confidence is growing. I think he’ll be great for us. And let’s remind ourselves he’s only 21. 100% agree with you with regards his impact. It’s mad that he’s only 17!
  23. For me, I think Page is the best of our current academy players who are involved with the first team.
  24. I’ve been trying nerd clusters! My issue with using them as fuel on ultras is that after a while the sugar is too much. I’ve used crushed up ritz biscuits and will be trying boiled new potatoes this time around
