Feel for you, I've been in that position.

Just to balance it out. When one of their players fell in the penalty box it looked like pen, but he gave him a yellow card for diving. The replays showed he was right and it was a blatant dive. That was an excellent decision.
-
He keeps the ball very well, but does nothing with it, slowing our play to walking pace.
-
I really liked the appointment but he's been a major disappointment. We rely almost exclusively on individual brilliance because we are so slow getting the ball forward, the opposition get 10-11 players behind the ball. Its the same tired, worn out tactics, even PL teams are moving away from, but we seem obsessed with. I felt envious watching Hull, with there directness, overloads, and manipulation of space. Whereas when Abdul or Monga got the ball, they had 2-3 players on them. It's only the brilliance of Abdul that he still made things happen.

You'd think so, but for Marti these 2 are the first names on the team sheet. He just doesn't seem to learn.

Luke Thomas masterclass
-
Our CBs look great when teams stand off and give them time to pick passes. If Hull come out and press high up the pitch, like Pompey in the 2nd half, we're going to lose. Same was true when Enzo was here. Anytime a team pressed us high, the defence crumbled

Kris Boyd sees through Rodgers and puts Sutton in his place. Even ended it by saying Sutton's going to Brendan's house for a cup of tea.😁
-
Not looking forward to it already.

We might as well play with 3 CBs and a RB. There's no need for a LB in Marti's system.
-
The only reason he's here, is because the club wanted to be seen to be doing something. Rudkin knew Vardy was not going to be offered a contract and we needed a striker, months ago, yet this is the best we could do. This was a PR exercise to keep Marti onside. No one who's seen this guy play can honestly think he's going to score goals.
-
If Marti insists on playing Thomas, Vesty and Faes as 3 of our back 4, he deserves all the criticism he gets. Our LW (whether Mavs or Monga) has no support because our LB wont cross the halfway line. Our CBs spend half the game passing to each other or the GK. On top of which, non of those 3 can defend. We have no striker which is the club's fault, but the slow monotonous tone and tempo of our play is all Marti.

Luke Thomas with another defensive masterclass.

I also enjoyed watching Sumo on channel 4 in the 80s and 90s. Still remember a few nicknames, the dumptruck and one was called the wolf.

I thought it was a bad idea, when O'Neill got what I thought was a washed up Tony Cottee from Malaysia. He turned out be a great signing.
-
Considering his previous manager thought he was PL standard and now Nelson can't even get on the bench for us, something has gone wrong. There's two things Marti seems to have made his mind up on pretty early, firstly Hamza is a RB not a CM, and secondly Nelson isn't good enough. Initially he promoted Okoli over him and then Faes. Both have been pretty ordinary as has Vesty, but Nelson still can't get on the bench.

King Power have realised Top is an idiot and have appointed a new CEO. Unfortunately I dont think we're that lucky. Top along with his side kick Rudkin aren't going anywhere.
-
For me that was a public display of disrespect to Susan. Rumours were she didn't get invited to Tops wedding, but Rudkin was. I think this resignation or sacking (dont know which) has been on the cards for a while. I dont even know how involved she has been at the club since Top took over. Susan always was a Vichai appt and it seems she's slowly been marginalised since his death.
-
Honesty, I think he looked better when he made his debut 5yrs ago. He used to have a very good cross on him. Since then to now, he's made little to no progress. Marginally better defensively but has no offensive game, no pace or athleticism, and both our CBs are better on the ball.
-
He's the worst kind of manager, obsessed by his own ego to try to adapt. Even Pep has gone and got Donnaruma, moving away from his ball playing gk gameplan. No doubt Russell will get a new job by bamboozling some naive owner (Top) with his jargon.
-
To be fair to them, I don't think neither Daka or Ayew can play the lone striker role. To make matters worse we're told Carranza's more of a 2nd striker too. Nobody at the club has been able to play as a lone striker, apart from Vardy, since Ulloa.
-
Well Russell Martin's free 😁
-
He knew his limitations and left us in a better position then when he found us. Thats all you can ask of an owner. RIP Milan.

100%, us needlessly passing the ball around is why we create so little. Even when we have a chance to counter we rarely show any urgency.
