  1. We all know how the January window works. The bottom line is, the best case scenario is we get 2 permanent signings and a loan or two (this largely depends on whether we bother to keep Buonanotte). So he really needs to look at that squad and figure out where the biggest impact can be made and chase that accordingly. Personally, I think we desperately need a centre back, defensive midfielder and a wide player. Obviously a lot more positions need replacements but that’s not going to happen. I think Edouard and Buonanotte will go back freeing up loan spaces. Edouard because he’s crap, Buonanotte because him and Bilal are very similar (not to mention Bilal is actually our player). That will give licence to loan in a couple in more urgent areas.
  2. When Maresca arrived, he looked at Ward and Iverson and dismissed them both immediately. Bought a keeper and promoted Jakub. We’d be saying the same about Iverson if he’d been selected. They’re both League 1 and cannot play for us ever again.
  3. He’s a one off. An absolute freak in football terms. I remember after we signed him hearing Pearson say we had to have patience as he’d go right to the top. After that first season I thought he was mental. That period between 2015 and 2021, I don’t think there was a better striker in the world.
  4. His worst game for us by far. Him and Kasey were painful to watch.
  5. I’d still find a way to make it rub meh
  6. I’m really happy that RVN is our manager but that lineup is fvcking sh!t.
  7. Until RVN gets his own backroom staff, and has a bit more time, I don't expect a whole lot to change. Shit defending and a 1-3 defeat.
  8. Loves the ‘banter’. Hates defending.
  9. Yeah but why have they not announced Preki? HAVE YOU EVER ASKED YOURSELF THAT SCOTCH?????
  10. Its an interesting question and one that can be levied at all football fans when their club has this kind of situation. Now is wanting Leicester City to be in the top 10 every season and challenging for cups and European titles entitled? No. It's aspirational. Is demanding it and if it doesn't arrive sacking the manager? Yes. So which is the case here? On this occasion it's actually neither. All we have had is an unfortunate set of circumstances thrust upon us by the departure of Maresca. Now having hired Cooper, should they have given him more time? Maybe but what would have been the point? Let's be honest here. His last year at Forest wasn't exactly improving. In fact, once they settled down from the multiple signings, they got worse under Cooper, hence his sacking and despite the step up in league, we have declined at an alarming rate under him so why let it go on for longer than it needs to? The lack of nuance thinking coming from pundits and commentators is ridiculous and forms part of the problem that modern football suffers from. Basically you stay in your lane. Don't dare to sit anywhere other than the back of the bus or forever hold your peace. The truth is, all those pundits who are having are pop are basically saying, 'Ok lads. You've had your fun. Now leave it to the big boys'. Villa will get the same treatment in a couple of years.
  11. Yeah but you’re mostly happy you’re gonna get a few months of some proper fanny.
  12. Fvcks sake. I’ve just took my sports jacket down the dry cleaners and bought half a dozen roll necks. Now i’m reading we’re getting Uncle Bald Fanny instead???
  13. Yup. I really would love for someone to dig up some posts from last season calling for Cooper to replace Enzo.
  14. Ah man. All the fond memories I have as a kid listening on the Radio were thanks to him. RIP Nev.
  15. I think even Leicester fans underestimate just how good he was between 2016 and 2022. If Vards went to Arsenal, they’d have dominated trophy wise and he would most certainty have gotten more England chances.
  16. Get this div gone. We have regressed so much as a team it’s untrue. The trajectory is going one way and one way only.
  17. I'm 44 and i'm about there. I live a fair distance away from the City so I don't get to as many games anymore (maybe 4 home games a season plus 1 London away). When I'm free on a matchday i'll watch it but I rarely get excited when they score and don't get upset when they concede. It really doesn't feel like i'm connected to it anymore. This has happened since the FA cup win. It's not so much the mismanagement of the club (which is hugely frustrating), for me, it's more the fact that there isn't any desire anymore. I've seen them win every domestic honour we've competed in and I have no expectation that it'll happen again. It's quite sad but when I do come back for games, it's shit. Even if we win. I was back for Plymouth at home last year which we won 4-0 and the amount of moaning and negativity was exactly the same as the Forest game this year. Really unpleasant atmosphere, crap food, expensive beer and the game is just unrecognisable from what I grew up with.
  18. Really good defensively today.
  19. I dont really want to say he was decent today.
  20. How is Zaha getting on? Out of all of them, he was the one I wanted the most.
