  1. Can't see him being up to current day Premiership standard. But maybe one for the Championship? Only joking. Ask Bilal if he knows one of his compatriots worth putting a punt on.
  2. Even an old blind fox can outwit the cockerel every now and then.
  3. I suggested a few weeks back that he's got the potential to reach Modric-levels. Got jumped on... 50m+? Maybe. But if he continues to improve we should be looking at a Maguire-level fee. 80m or so.
  4. Head down to the Bear in Paddington. Or even the Victoria but again a polished place,
  5. Looking for general advice. I may need to get a car, that will be used to travel approx 125 miles per day (60 each way to and from work). Second-hand purchase or lease, either is possible. What should I be looking out for? Would a 1.2/1.3 engine be ok, or should I search for a bigger option?
  6. This is a land I've visited many times.
  7. You get a different class of professional on the continent, so I believe.
  8. I'm always a little surprised that people like to have takeaways delivered. If you're going to have carbo-rich fast food for your supper, then surely walking down to the takeaway will at least give you a little exercise and burn off some carbs. I appreciate some people may live miles from the takeaway though.
  9. As per the above, put monthly payments into an existing investment fund. Choosing individual shares is very, very risky. There again I thought Bitcoin was risky and I've known people who raked it in.
  10. Nah, too much risk of buying close to a peak. Better to drip feed monthly purchases, then you buy more units when price is low (and vice versa). Do it via an iSA and get tax benefits! Agree with fresh air and exercise. Plus learn new recipes to cook at home.
  11. I do wonder if we have some of the biggest meltdowns in the country here on FT. Of course it could just be that other fanbases are just as bad.
  12. The big patriot leaders at Reform seem to have forgotten loyalty to Britain and now live in Dubai. Reform deputy leader Richard Tice splitting time between Skegness and Dubai after partner leaves UK | Richard Tice | The Guardian
  13. Good to hear the Peacock is still running. At one point my sister did the Sunday lunches in there. My favourite drinking hole, the Gate Inn is long gone. All the memories are fading now. Even the Green man.
  14. Effectively now. And I feel strangely relieved, now I'm past the denial mode and into acceptance.
  15. Brilliant! RvN Masterclass incoming!!!
  16. I'd love to see Puel here as Head of Recruitment. Suspect he wouldn't want to come back though after the way he was sacked last time.
  17. Given the (expected) response from FT, I'm expecting a shock result today. maybe we've reached a point where it all clicks...[GAME OVER]
  18. Why would it be silly to live in south Derbyshire? Oh.
  19. Ayoze Perez isn't doing so bad (at international level).
  20. If we play the dream team - El K and Buonannotte - then no reason we can't compete with anyone. And who knows, maybe Rvn can sort the defence out?
  21. Am I the only one who thinks we can do this? Play the two wonderkids and we stand a chance.
  22. Close (for us Foxes). ManUre. We can do this! RvN will be happy.
  23. How on earth did we perform so badly and get relegated with those players? So many good players listed for that season. 2003–04 Leicester City F.C. season - Wikipedia
  24. Won't be a fortune but can see someone pick up VK for his passing ability. We may also lose one or both of Mavididi/Fatawu.
  25. I've renewed my travel card. We're going to score 5 or 6 goals in most games now, so will stay up even if we keep conceding 2or 3. Well, that's the dream...
