Leicestershire County Cricket Club

Agree. But I still can't ever see Notts fans preferring Trent Rockets T20 over Notts T20 - overseas stars or not. As mentioned earlier in the thread, the unintended consequence of franchise cricket in England could well be a more vibrant county cricket subculture, a bit like Somerset have created at Taunton -

Gotta hand it to Ben Cox. What a player. Every time he comes in under a pressure situation he seems to perform -

Maybe I'm a bit naive and maybe things will change but I saw Josh Hull put down a simple catch for the Welsh team and, it just didn't seem right, him playing there. I doubt the players give a shit. It's for them just a big money exhibition match. LIke soccer aid or a pre season friendly in Singapore. -
Mads Hermansen sold to West Ham - Official

He does what I'd do if I wanted to be a journalist and build a social media following as an itk.. He makes educated and reasonable guesses and twists every rumour by a few degrees for clicks..the classic fake it til you make it merchant.. Example BJ rumour; Leicester willing to part with BEK for upwards of 20m. Monaco thought to be monitoring situation -
Marti Cifuentes appointed new manager
Paninistickers replied to Tuna's topic in Leicester City Forum
I'd like to think a curious mind tends to go hand in hand with management The Dutchman couldn't give a shit about the club,.the city, the players. Everything revolved around him. And it showed in his 'management' Cooper was much better in terms of being a club man, but,.imo, blew the goodwill entirely by deciding to pick an unnecessary fight with Ricky. -
Mate, I try to set aside obvious bias but our players should've watched today's games and, if their heads are right, thought 'fck yeah' Problem is, are their heads right? If they are, the league is there for the taking

Never read much into opening day results and performances.

Somebody said this line earlier in the week and were absolutely bang right. The only team who can stop us is ourselves.
-
I know 75% like to have a pop at him, but Jordan Ayew is miles and miles ahead of anyone on this pitch. And he's one of our more ordinary players.
-
100%. I did it. Tho it stopped in Scotland (Prestwick) to pick up a load of jocks. Edit. It used to have scheduled flights - as British Midland was part of Star Alliance - to Brussels and Frankfurt, allowing connections for long haul. But that's long gone and it's just routine holiday and budget flights for passengers now

Don't want a draw here. Reckon it'd be nice if one of them ends up being horribly bummed and the season over inside 90mins

Another little win for the tournament with Hibs getting a fantastic 2-0 away win at Partizan Belgrade in qualifying. Exactly the sort of game / size of club the tournament is made for.

Mads Hermansen (close to 18m move to West Ham)
Paninistickers replied to MPH's topic in Transfer Talk
I wouldn't give a thank you for him,.let alone 35m. I think we've got three better wingers than him -
I get the logic, but unfortunately those 10k drongos will be the last 10k standing. I'm out for this season. I've jacked it. And I reckon those others who've jacked it are ones who have something about them, know the game, know the etiquette. The drongos have a nice day out irrelevant of result, of kit design, of sponsor, of narcissistic Dutch managers, of knife edge games at 85 mins. The even applaud relegation. They simply don't give a shit. They just go.

My bag of fag packet maths reckons with BEK going for a PSR break even 18m and JJ at 6m and Wilf at 8m, we have balanced the books to pay our exorbitant running costs. And, more or less, no direct replacements needed for each of the departing players. Two loans in of the quality of the (criminally unused by that Dutch cvnt) Buonanotte, and we'd be good to go. -
Great post

Besiktas confirm they are close to signing Wilfred Ndidi
Paninistickers replied to Ric Flair's topic in Transfer Talk
I'd love to think the positive comments posted somehow reach Wilf, even if in just anecdotal form. I've really enjoyed his contribution for nine seasons. Great service, great servant to the club. He leaves with the warmest of wishes and some tremendous memories. Thanks Wilf. -
I've found Brady fascinating. Wagner to an extent too. Maybe they overshadow Davies somewhat.

Ahhh, I thought the village looked familiar in ep 2 when he had dinner with his family in the pub. Thought it was Newtown Lindford/ Bradgate pub

Funny, came on here to post about the Amazon thing and saw this comment. He ain't impressed me at all from how the sit portrays him. He lacks, as the kids would say, aura.
-
Yup,.not overkeen on that either. Not a decision by committee fan It's a chance for the manager to stamp an identity on his team.

Just watching the ITV doc on YouTube. Just reinforces the opinion that she had the worst defence team ever known in UK law. Whether she did this or not is up for debate. But in no way was she properly defended

Maybe just a rest. He's playing every game, every format. Pity, as he's great for us -

Great squad that is, tbf Can't for the life of me work out why we signed up Masood for this though. Even him for the t20 was pushing it, tho more rational since Handscomb took a break -
Itd be nice if the manager knows that most of the crowd are prepared to give Okoli and Nelson some slack, if the alternative is Vesty and Faes (who I kinda both like personally in many ways, but time has come to move on) Personally, I think both have qualities that far outweigh any inexperience. Nelson just looks the part. Kinda a John Stones vibe at that same age. Okoli, his physique aside, showed me something with his goal at Brighton that his attitude is spot on
