I actually sort of understand why he might have felt trapped into playing Ward. Jakub after just one U-21 match would have been a huge risk and Iverson hasn't even been in matchday squads most of the season (which is itself an issue but not RVN's fault). But not starting Facundo and then not putting him on until the 85th minute is baffling and concerning. I don't think it should be him or Bilal but even if it is, he chose the wrong one.
