Personally would have Alexander-Arnold in with Rice and Walker at full back. For certain games.
-
In the group stage we could get away with the midfield 3 of Rice, Foden, Bellingham but against anyone half decent Rice gets completely overun. Man City manage it with Rodri but their defence is strong with 1on1 battles. You'd have to ask Bellingham to drop deeper, which I think he is capable of to be fair.
-
I would take Rashford, bit of a wildcard maybe but I think he offers an ability to play from the left that no-one else does, directness and has history of making things happen for England.
-
A lot of talk of this announcement but isn't he announcing 32/33 players, that should be pretty much everyone.
-
Brighton will get it wrong eventually. But i do like that they don't seem to be bullied by managers, it's their way or you go. Russell Martin is going to get a reasonably good job next, because he's convinced people in football he's a good manager without achieving anything. But I think Brighton are cleverer than that.

Fifa to explore impact of moving domestic matches abroad

Can't see it happening with the English and probably German leagues but I'm sure Spain won't really have a problem with it. -
Premier league clubs to vote on scrapping VAR

Now it's been here l don't think you can get rid of it, especially if noone else does. -
Its a difficult one given the season he's had and the importance he has for Enzo. How much would it cost to buy someone to do that very specific role? Prioritising the finances on the left side of the defence and back up.
-
Probably just lost in translation but for me, priority to stay has a massive BUT on the end. Not a criticism as I understand that position.
-
If only I had an ounce of Haalands confidence, no nonsense run up or nothing. Just ****ing score. It might be unlikely but the chat towards the end was massively disrespectful to West Ham. Still need to beat them. Most laughable aspect of this game is how tin pot Spurs fans have been.
-
I love how the talk is about whether Spurs want to win or not, like they can decide. Man City play well, they beat them and Spurs can do nothing about it.
-
I did have to answer questions from my 7 year old why the finish guy had no trousers on I think the sexual stuff does need toning down a little bit, even if it is post-watershed.
-
I could see it going similarly to how Kasper found it in France, but probably worse Don't know much about the Como squad but would love to see Vardy trying to fit in to an Italian squad group Brits abroad...
-
I can't decide if Sky will be happy it's gone to the final day, or be gutted they can't have all their attention at Anfield.
-
Not seen him but heard that Greaves is supposed to be decent but how can you only have only 1 defender/keeper from all the better sides of the league. Assuming it's based on stats because they've been busier.

Anyone ever explained how these votes actually work
-
Why do we have a 'jury' vote? Who cares what they think
-
The Swiss guy is about as 2024 as you can get so no surprise he's doing well. And the Irish one was probably the worst of the lot. I don't understand this show
-
There are bigger things going on in the world of course, but why can't people just enjoy something without it being all political. Pretty sure it's not the 20 year old Israeli signers fault. Actually think she will win as there will be people all over Europe just voting for her in order to piss protesters off.
-
What's its like during the winter months though? All fall on love with places when it's nice
-
Generally teams always find something towards the end of the season, no matter how shit they are before that. Excluding Sheffield United.

Seems like he's been encouraged to retire. Giving him one test of the summer to say goodbye. Makes sense to use a summer against West Indies and Sri Lanka to look st replacements. Should probably have gone with Broad at the end of last summer. -
I enjoy it I can't help it. Some interesting acts this year
-
I think if he chooses to go to Villa, it says where his head is regarding his footballing career. Happy to go through the motions as a bit parter and pick up a good wage. Not that there is anything necessarily wrong with that, just lacks a bit of ambition and drive. But then if he had that he'd probably have forced a move away from here way before now.
-
Offering him a contract probably bypasses some contractual term or bonus. I struggle to have any animosity towards Kel, but he's frustrated the hell out of me. No reason why he shouldn't have smashed it this season. Some great memories but another player who who will look back at the peak years of his career and think why was I only a bit part player.
