Which goal did you celebrate the most?
Basingstoke Fox replied to Des.'s topic in Leicester City Forum
Christ we’ve been spoilt during the last few seasons. Long may it continue. Most of my contenders have already been mentioned. A less obvious but highly memorable one for me was Drinkwater vs Watford. Came back from 0-2 down, literally the last kick of the match. He HAD to hit it as perfectly as he did for us to not lose it and it meant so much more after the playoff heartache just months before. -

Anyone still have terrible internet?
Basingstoke Fox replied to Finnegan's topic in Music and Gaming
Virgin Media are meant to be doing a major expansion project. They've been digging up the local paths and making a lovely mess of putting them back together, all this without giving any of us any notice of the work happening. Hopefully the internet speeds will be worth it. Could be worth checking this to see if you're going to be included. -
Favourite Pre/Post match pub.
Basingstoke Fox replied to SemperEadem's topic in Leicester City Forum
Matchdays aren't the same since the Swan closed down. The Criterion is alright but abit "meh". The Rutland & Derby is a decent pub but not really a pre match one. The Globe is decent but quite a trek, same with Duffy's. Brickies is crap in my experience. Took a good half hour to get served last time. -
Signing in / Registering for the new LCFC Site

Good point, I can buy a Man City ticket right now if I want one and that's gone on sale to P1 today. I just like to check all of my points have been added correctly from time to time. I'll send them an email to check the 'proper way'. -

Seems like the most appropriate thread to post this. How can we check the number of priority points on the website? I remember being able to view them while they were in the process of migrating from the old site to the new one but haven't been able to since. I can see recent history of tickets purchased and other purchases but not the total number of points. I'm pretty sure I'm P1 regardless but would be good to know for sure. -
I'm sure that was Stoke away in the FA Cup. When I was at the Euros in 2016, some Croatians spotted my LCFC England flag and all started chanting "Jamie Vardy's having a party!". Absolutely loved it that randomers from Europe were singing that. My favourite clip of that goal The celebration after his first. Must be down to his south Yorkshire roots.

If I remember correctly we ended up with around 9% at Norwich. They'd oversold on Season Tickets and couldn't guarantee all STH's a seat if we got our full 15% allocation. So they managed to get our allocation reduced on grounds of us having a "High Risk" fan base and therefore needing the smaller allocation. Completely agree with your last point. Absolutely zero reason not to make the cup our full priority this season. Should we get past Fleetwood though this has the potential to be a great away day.

Your most memorable moment of 2017 following LCFC
Basingstoke Fox replied to rn9013's topic in Leicester City Forum
Seville at home is my favourite single match following Leicester. Everything about that night was absolutely superb and knowing that it meant we would get another European away day following Leicester made it all the more special. If I wasn't allowed to pick that then I would go for the resulting trip to Madrid. Took the week off and had a belting time out there in the sun, including randomly meeting Martin O'Neil & Muzzy Izzet out in the city after the match. -
Man City League Cup 1-1 - lost 4-3 on pens

Man City League Cup 1-1 - lost 4-3 on pens
Basingstoke Fox replied to theessexfox's topic in Leicester City Forum
I can't see how this makes any difference? We should've played our strongest team regardless. Effectively it comes down to priorities. The club has chosen to prioritise league fixtures and possibly finishing slightly higher up mid-table, rather than actively go for silverware. -

Absolutely fuming. Even more so than when I saw the team sheet yesterday evening. I had a ticket but thankfully couldn't make it due to work commitments. I say thankfully because if I had to drive back for 2-2.5 hours after that last night, getting minimal sleep before heading into work again this morning after the half arsed effort from the club I would've been seething. Had we played our strongest 11 and still come up short, fair enough I would never get on the teams back if they try their best and simply aren't good enough. That may well have still happened but you have to at least try, give it a real go. I heard and saw many people last night saying they were proud of the effort the team put in. I can't agree, that team selection shows that we didn't take it seriously enough as a club and I could never be proud of that half arsed approach as a club overall. Football is about winning trophies. Perhaps we'll be a little more prepared for the upcoming league fixtures might now finish a little higher in the league (I'm not convinced it'll make much difference anyway) but who honestly cares? Every year we get excuses for not taking the domestic cups seriously; we need to focus on achieving promotion, avoiding relegation or even winning the league. Taking this approach is understandable at those times but this season there was literally no reason not to put our full strength side out last night. We've thrown away a real shot of getting to a cup final this season and once you're there, who knows what could happen? This is the reality of the money oriented world we follow football in these days. Clubs would rather focus on trying to finish one or two places higher in the league for a few extra quid than have the prestige of winning actual trophies. -

Russia. But then that did include Newcastle away (for the weekend) and Southampton away. December is just a heavy month. -
I'm sure the ref had to make some sort of gesture before the 2nd half of Burnley to make it stop so he could start the second half. Ridiculous.

The amount of boiled south coast piss when Vardy bags the winner and runs up to the Southampton fans to take a bow is going to be excellent. Just like Nugent back in 2012. Legends.

Southampton away - Weds 13 December 7.45pm

True, but I wonder how many people have effectively bought a priority point for £20 and not make the trip. Hope I'm wrong of course. -

Not surprising. EA won't put any resource into anything that isn't UT because that's where they'll make more money. A shame because that's something I have literally zero interest in as I don't fancy giving them yet more cash every year.

For anyone else that plays striker (may do the same for other positions too), have you ever noticed that at the end of each match, it'll say your Standing tackle, slide tackle and interception rating has gone up from 29 to 30, 34 to 35 etc. yet never actually upgrade?

Scoring at the Hawthorns and purposely winding up their fans every season is excellent. Loved his bow in front of the West Ham fans last season too. Legend.
