He's probably the star creative talent in their first team. He must be coming back from injury or something if he featured in this. -

Did anyone go for this in the end? I had it pre-ordered so it arrived last week. Having seen the reviews, etc. I wasn't particularly excited about it but I'm really getting into it. I've only done driving lessons & mission challenges so far but it's good fun. I was skeptical about the lessons too but they are really good. I've not gone into any online races just yet though. I'd be tempted to buy a wheel for this if I didn't have much better things to spend my cash on.

Won't be any help to you but every time I've taken my Golf in for a service I've declined the emissions 'fix'. Purely because I loved how the car worked for the previous 2-3 years and didn't want to risk them screwing anything up and effectively being in the situation you're in now. If the fix is really that easy without affecting economy / performance then you have to wonder why they didn't actually apply this to all vehicles before they sold them. Have you had any more luck since this post?

The Highways Agency. Don't get me wrong, I know that our roads require maintenance (like all roads of course) but some prior warning of work taking place would be nice. Driving back from Leicester last night I headed straight onto the M1 southbound, there were no signs or any sort of indication that any work was taking place other than the usual endless roadworks which have been there since that night Kasper scored against Yeovil in early 2014. Anyway I got onto the motorway and soon saw signs stating the J19 exit was closed, thinking that would be inconvenient if I was going that way but thankfully I'm not. So I pass J19 and it's only after then that there is a notice on the overhead sign stating the M1 was shut between J18 & 16. So basically I'm left with no choice but to carry on towards the congestion where 3 lanes of traffic all have to leave at J18. Rather than follow the diversion I took a long route through the arse end of nowhere to get to the M40 (via Daventry & Banbury). If there was at least some notice of this work taking place while driving up the M1 yesterday afternoon or in Leicester as I approached the M1 / M69 roundabout then I would've taken the M69 / A46 / M40 route home and it would've been a much quicker journey, which would've been nice before a 07:00 start at work this morning. As if the match itself wasn't frustrating enough. Of course it would be nice if Sky didn't select this awful fixture for a Monday night too.

I left the quiz to check an email and got disqualified.

Surely they knew he was going to try to implement a completely different style of football. It's like they did no research whatsoever prior to his appointment. -

Is Shakespeare the right man for the job?

I like the fact that we're giving a relatively young English manager a chance and he's shown encouraging signs for us so far. If he genuinely is learning as he goes along while also putting some decent building blocks in place for us then I'd be happy for us to stick with him for a prolonged period as that bodes well for the future. It'll be interesting to see what we're saying here in October though following a few very difficult matches, before going into some "easier" ones. -
Good old Amazon Prime day.

Safe Standing - Support the Early Day motion
Basingstoke Fox replied to purpleronnie's topic in Leicester City Forum
I get the impression that they are very much in favour of safe-standing, but they're equally cautious about the approach they take with introducing the discussion and also putting across their views. They are being pro-active though and hopefully those who flat out reject the idea saying "there is no such thing as safe standing" based on nothing but their "opinion" rather than hard evidence, will at least listen to reasoning for it. I'll be interested to see whether anybody changes their stance based on the points made and if so how many. -
Safe Standing - Support the Early Day motion

Liverpool's main supporters group Spirit of Shankly have been engaging with supporters about this. They have a few people with a decent background on the panel, I've watched about 25 minutes so far but it seems like it'll be a productive discussion: -
God that new shirt is awful. Nice to get a solid signing done early. Best of luck to him.

Saw one comment which sums it up nicely.. Nothing says "I colluded with Russia" like firing the guy investigating your collusion with Russia.

Not keen on the new album, but driving up to the match on Saturday re-living the gig from last year at full volume was excellent. Their live performances are what makes them as a band. Only shame for me is that they don't have the live performance of Treat on there. I'm sure they played that at the Sunday show.

You are an absolute hero. I've gone straight to the 2004/05 season to find my first game, Reading away in the cup. While searching for this, I came across Forest away. We drew 1-1 but how we didn't win that I'll never know. Remember watching it on Sky. Good limbs for our last minute equaliser.

Croatia losing 3-0 to Estonia screwed me over yesterday. Bastards. Think I'll leave international friendlies out of it in future.

Great stuff. I hope Bristol City go down now. -
This is my suggestion.

I pretty much bought a PS3 just so I could play GT5. Hoping for good things.

I used to idolise Michael Owen thanks to his time with England. His goal against Argentina in 98 is one of my earliest memories of football and the joy it brings. It's a shame that I have to listen to the drivel he comes out with and now think "what a c**t". Ian Wright & Martin Keown were bang on.
