The other side of it is without a KDH (or even Ndidi making those runs) type attacking midfielder, we've got no one going into the half space regularly, to support Mavididi/Fatawu, in turn making it easier to double up on them. BEK always drifted too close to Mavididi. This problem hopefully starts getting solved with the addition of Ramsey and James.

It’s semantics isn’t it? “Best” could mean quality of the players, tactics or teams. Or overall level. Or it could mean competitiveness between each team and how many twists and turns it has to offer. obviously the quality is lower than the PL, but the fact that most teams can beat each other throughout the season makes for an entertaining league product

What I mean is: we don’t know who we might shift. We don’t know if more sales will mean some incomings. We don’t know how good/bad incomings will be. even without any more incomings/outgoings the window being open means there’s uncertainty for the players currently here. with it closed, we perhaps see an improvement amongst potentially want-away players, who now have clarity of purpose

This is pretty mindless. It’s been 2 games. Marti has been here 4 weeks. The window is still open for 2 weeks. There’s so many unknowns and variables it’s completely pointless to try and predict anything right now
