  1. Hamza is a non entity in central midfield. Doesn’t run, doesn’t scan before receiving the ball so can’t play on the half turn. Offers nothing. Carried by 17 year old Page.
  2. It’s going to be Hamza and Bouba 😬
  3. I’ve been thinking about going to watch a LCFC ladies match again. Haven’t thought about going since I went to watch them play Villa a few years ago 👀😉
  4. Just read that ManUre youngster Harry Amass, a left back, has ended his loan at Sheffield Wednesday and is now expecting to go on loan to Norwich City for the rest of the season. We should be looking at players like him. Literally any available Championship experienced left back still playing at that level is a better option than Thomas.
  5. Daka can’t pass, control the ball, header the ball and has 50p boots. If he gets any touch he stays down for at least 2 minutes even if we are in possession and lies there until the ref stops the game even if it’s eating up time that we need to get back in a game. Despite his flaws. Ayew is the better option. That’s not meant as a compliment to Ayew by the way.
  6. Looks the real deal. I think Page has come on loads since his first start against Charlton early this season. Still find it strange that as a club we’ve loaned out the older aged reserve players like Braybrooke and Alves and then rely on 16/17 year olds to cover for the inevitable injuries/loss of form within the senior squad.
  7. Nelson did ok and he’s definitely not useless.
  8. Appleton on BBC’s When Your Smiling said right footed Nelson struggled and Thomas needs to come back in to the team and that maybe he was dropped too quickly. Earlier on he admitted to not seeing much of LCFC this season. Clearly he doesn’t realise that Nelson’s performance, whilst not perfect, was much better than watching Luke Thomas be picked apart by every attacker on the left hand side every game.
  9. I wouldn’t be surprised if he hadn’t even checked the score yet. He might’ve not even known we were playing last night. Too busy doing other stuff - polo, going out for meals, doing the big shop, watching Love Island, arguing about what bin day it is and who’s putting the bin out.
  10. He thinks winning free kicks is a positive attribute and it genuinely is his main focus in every game, it’s almost an obsession. The thing is, because he doesn’t stretch the game like a traditional number 9, these free kicks are very rarely won in dangerous positions. They stop any momentum and because he’s only successful in winning them 50% of the time, it very often results in a turnover of possession close to our halfway line. So frustrating.
  11. Much preferred right footed centre back Nelson playing at left back to left footed left back Thomas playing at left back. Make sense of that.
  12. Always disappears second half. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  13. Terrible in the second half YET AGAIN. WTF is Marti saying (or not saying) at half time? Is it fitness? Tactics? It’s been too often to be just coincidence.
  14. I’m just confused what bemorecoatsworth means? Is it good or bad? Coatsworth wasn’t a footballer that was easy on the eye footballing wise, but not all of our players were in that era and nor was the division. He did however play with maximum effort, often playing through injury and had some great moments with us.
  15. Eh? Is this a dig against Gary Coatsworth? He was a cult figure in his brief time at Leicester and not just for his hair. Played a key role in the play off season 93/94 and played in the final and set up the equaliser. Scored a couple of cracking goals too. Sadly injury ended his career shortly after whilst still at the club.
  16. He got dropped by Cooper - he was on the bench for the Southampton game away and was brought on for Skipp at half time. Tbf he changed the game!
  17. As I say, pretty much all information online backs up what I say. We are notoriously high over payers which is why players never leave. Luke Thomas is on 30k plus bonuses. The idea that a prime age Harry Winks is pushing 80k plus is very much within the realms of reality.
  18. Winks signed for us in The Championship when he was under contract at Spurs on 90k. There’s no way he would’ve taken a 30k wage drop and a drop into the Championship. The vast majority of info on the internet backs up what Capology state - that he’s on 80+k and has been throughout his 3 years, however that has been paid. Ricardo and Soumare’s wages are verified at 80k
  19. Yeh not all fully verified but used by the industry and partner links can be seen on the website. Bouba and Ricardo are verified at 80k and Winks’ wages are reported on multiple platforms as 80k plus in line with Capology.
  20. Have you looked at the website? Looked at their partners? It’s 100% more accurate than the bloke next to you at the footy theorising what they think Winks was on. He’s the highest paid player in The Championship
  21. Go and have a look yourself. Their numbers are far more reliable than someone on here theorising. I started checking it after there was a general consensus amongst fans that Luke Thomas had signed a new contract because the club had reduced his wage only to see from capology that his wage had doubled.
  22. Only certain players. Winks obviously negotiated well. He dropped down a division from Spurs because it wouldn’t impact on him financially and obvs has assurances that it wouldn’t change during the 3 years.
  23. Capology.com is the go to website for wages. It’s still an approximate but a good one. Coady was on £75k. Interesting to note that Faes contract had a bigger relegation clause and that he’s on £25k this season. (Edit actually probably means he’s having half his wages paid by us…👀) Explains why he’s been easier to loan out whereas we know Winks on 90k, Bouba on 80k and Daka on 75k aren’t likely to go anywhere.
  24. Winks has been on approx 90k a week since he joined us in The Championship in 23/24 season. That’s what he’s being paid now too.
