You're probably right. If the finances continue to be handled as badly as they have been for the past few years, then I'm sure he'll have no idea what the playing budget is for the upcoming season.

I'm not sure it's quite that simple, he's been at Seagrave pretty much constantly since the season ended. I'm not saying he won't go, but those aren't the actions of a man who's "time is done".

He's 24 now so little chance he will make it here. He's been great for Mansfield, a real mature head and often plays in multiple positions, a class act at League Two level, hopefully he can step up a Division. Stick a 50% sell on clause in.

I'd be happy to attend a testimonial at the end of each season if the money goes into the pension pots of each of our supporters that is retiring that year.

He was one we took a punt on, very small fee and low wages, so we easily moved him on.

I don't know any of the guys and have no involvement, but I really enjoy what they do and have been funding (albeit small amounts) from day one. Total respect to them for getting off their backsides and doing something positive for the club, when it's much easier to moan and do nothing.

Doesn't matter what was offered to us, if the player refuses to leave, nothing can be done. No way any other club would have met what he is earning here.

It was Birchenall that eventually moved them on. Not really his job, but he's one of the old brigade that knows how things should be done.

I'm not for one minute defending Rodgers but I think they weren't being completely transparent with him either. It seemed too much of a coincidence that our huge dip in form this season came directly after the Sensi fiasco, it would appear from the outside that Enzo was led up the garden path somewhat. If we are going to repair the damage done and get player trading remotely right, then surely we need a strategist bringing in whos sole responsibility is making sure the squad is maximum value for money at all times. We now need to sell at the right time, offer the correct contracts etc and be right on top of being ready to replace players at their peak value, the days of the lucky dip need to come to an end. This is the only way we'll rebuild from here.

Everything that's happened since 1980. I think last night was up there with The 'Little' playoffs and Sevilla for support. This surely has to be the most ridiculous club in English football.

Fatawu and Mavididi. At times they were unplayable. I just loved watching those two being so positive.
