Next season who would you like to see come in?

What does everyone think is the main position we should look for in the transfer market next?

And explain who would be your ideal and realistic choice for that position.

Sort of the idea of the thread lol

According to Sky...Juve are looking at signing Heiko Westermann. Have said before I reckon he'd be a decent signing. One of the most versatile players I can remember, (reckon I've seen him in 4 or 5 roles in televised games)...On a free too !!

Now here's to a highly odd signing... Westermann at Juve... Cannot imagine that in my lifetime. He's good, but not as good as required by Juventus. Chiellini, Barzagli, Bonucci, Ogbonna, Caceres... now that's quality.

Scrap that idea - Westermann joins his old pal Rafael van der Vaart at Bétis Sevilla:

I hear that Stoke City are interested in Andriy Yarmolenko, The Ukrainian player is 25 and has 175 appearences and does not want to renew his contract with Kiev.

Does anyone know more about this player ? Some say he's a striker but I thought he was a winger and I think he would be a good addition to City.

Yes maybe, if he wasn't expensive as hell.

Have you seen his price tag? His market value alone is estimated at around 25 million Euro (if you believe transfermarkt, that is). :D

With us supposedly failed in our quests for Aranguiz and Inler, maybe Charlie Adam wouldn't be a bad idea??

Not I a million years would I want that fat bam at our club.

For every great goal you see there are 10X the number of times he doesn't bother to track back and for every nice pass, there are countless missed challenges.

Not only is his fitness an issue but he has never shown any effort to improve it either.

Adam is nothing but a half decent player with a great shot and an abysmal attitude.

I'm Scottish so have watched him his whole career and I could not put Into words, the sickness I feel when I see him on the teamsheet for Scotland.

He's a very good player. I think he turned down Liverpool a few seasons ago.

Said it before but Will Hughes.  Young, lots of potential (Liverpool were having a good look at him this transfer window) and would likely see us as a significant step up which would be refreshing.

Not looking at the list of their players, nothing resonated. I'm sure there was a link earlier in the summer but I might be mixing the clubs up, perhaps it was Hamburg.

Are you thinking of Okazaki?

Younes Kaboul.

He was a rock at the back yesterday.

Average player. Good for his age.

Can't see him making the step up from the Championship. Might have a run with a relegation battling Prem club but in terms of making progress I can't see it.

He's good going forward but every time I watch Derby I see him get outmuscled, ball watching, not closing down and letting players drift pass him. Overrated.

i agree with steve just get  Gokhen Inler in if possible, he would be a definate focal point of the team, and no risk with his ability, brilliant footballer, that should complete the squad bar a couple of squad backups if needed ie 3rd keeperwideman striker
