Foxymcoxy Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 You must have more money than sense. 6 grand to waste on 2 footballing bets. Not a waste if he can cover one bet with the other...
Carlos88LCFC Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 You must have more money than sense. 6 grand to waste on 2 footballing bets. Not really, I made a stupid bet with my mate for 5k at the start of the season. Just want to counter it with a 1k bet on us getting relegated because I don't think I will be able to hold my nerve!

Anyone who makes a £5K bet on a football result has a serious problem and should go to counselling.

Not that bad if you ask me.

Secondly, if he puts the bets on he says then he's guaranteed a prophet, no? So not a waste. Getting more and more convinced you are just a troll.

Gambling is an addiction worse than cigarettes and alcohol. If you haven't lived in a family with a gambler then perhaps listen to those who have before you make stupid statements. Gamblers think they're going to win on every bet they make or why would they do it? Which Prophet are you talking about Mohammed. Perhaps try not to stalk me and talk about things you know about. Religion for example.

Now I would like to counter the loss if we did go down with a bet that would cement me winning money either way.

David Hankey Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 For a team in 7th spot Southampton have only won 5 out of their last 10 games, City on the other hand are in the ascendancy. The thing is they don't concede many, only 28 all season so far, so we will need to take our chances when they come. I see nothing to fear from them, not even Pelle is firing on all cylinders as he previously was.

The Doctor Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 Would have taken a point in this on Friday, but watching them v Sunderland they were poor and with such a massive injury list and lack of form, with the spirits we're in we should be taking it to them.

Fairly well off people also like football... plenty of people on here with their own companies. In fact I know someone with about £10m in the bank who has posted on here before... and no, I'm not going to name names.

Stevosevic Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 Lose this and a Sunderland win at Everton would be awful
cc_star Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 Lose this and a Sunderland win at Everton would be awful Could happen Then after that they'd be expert at grinding a result out of us... and we'll be playing a QPR side with no pressure on them whatsoever
shen Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 I am confident we can get something out of this game, but it's hard to believe we can keep up our scinitillating form. It's been a long season, we've not rested some of our key players that much and other teams will know what to expect from us. Southampton have the best defense in the league and they won't concede two penalties again. I hope we can keep up the energy levels and show the same quality in the final third as against WBA and Newcastle.

st albans fox Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 This is our easiest of the three remaining fixtures. 9 points hereinout. How can a team playing for a European place be easier than a relegated side?
Carlos88LCFC Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 How can a team playing for a European place be easier than a relegated side? Pressure. QPR could go horribly wrong if it is down to that day. QPR have a good bunch of players that, if playing in other teams, would do well. Once they are relegated they are going to want to put their names in the shop window. Southampton will be under pressure to preform, they are off form, 1st choice goal keeper is out and a few other key midfielders also. Think it will be a tough game against Southampton but it could also be a game we could win. But at their best, Southampton will beat us. Lets hope they aren't at their best & it's a similar performance for them as it was at Sunderland on Saturday. Absolutely gutted they got turned over by Sunderland and if they beat us, it will be a team I no longer like as they would have royally fvcked us up!
Guest Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 How can a team playing for a European place be easier than a relegated side? You'll be able to answer that yourself in 3 weeks time.
Silverdaz Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 Hopefully we can win this then I can celebrate my 40th in style
SecretPro Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 Leicester 2 - 1 Southampton. 2 early goals, then hanging on for dear life in the second half. Sunderland will beat Everton, just to piss us off.
