Well lose With the same attitude, poise and concentration shown in previous weeks, with a virtually unchanged starting XI and the belief we can turn this around... we can actually turn it around. Nothing to do with "being cocky".

I get the impression that in the US the focus is on simply making a lot of noise as a group - they don't seem so concerned with injecting a bit of wit into proceedings.

Probably one of the failings for the typical English club, more concerned about picking out the 'fat b@stard' in the away end rather than make noise to get behind the team. This is where we've came into our own in recent weeks where the focus has been on getting behind our team on the pitch, which a bloke in the Kop is more likely to get behind than chanting about how their winger looks like a gypo

We'll know the result before kick off and if they've won, it'll put a bit of edginess into everyone knowing we've dropped a place. If they lose, it's a carnival again knowing 3 points gives us a huge advantage going into next week. All in all....must win today.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 I think we'll play better if Sunderland win, we seem to thrive on pressure. Would rather they lose but if they win think it will give our players a push and we won't start the game in the bottom 3. No real downside.

I remember when Liverpool nearly won the league under Rafa and United had won an early kick off and he'd banned the players from finding out their result only for it to be announced on the loudspeaker when they were warming up. He went mental.
