Southampton up next......

Well keeping the faith will be a big one here, Soton looked nothing special against Sunderland and I can see us really firing into them, momentum is a big thing and I really think we can do this.

I just think they've got too much quality.

How on earth are their fans predicting a loss for them?

1 point from their last five away games apparently.

They have overachieved massively, but having said that they are still at the levels of a Stoke/Swansea. If we get at them as we have been the past few weeks we will win. The atmosphere, our momentum and the way we are playing should be enough, assuming we play with that same intensity as we have been for a number of weeks now. Vardy and Ulloa have been fantastic for the last few weeks, and we really are defending from the front.

Quite depressing that despite our recent form we could still be back in the bottom three by next Saturday. Think we have the momentum to get us over the line now though.

I can see Newcastle going down, after that display yesterday I really can't see a way back for them. We were the easiest points they had left in their run in.

I agree with all of this, except for the last part. I hope a fighting Leicester is not easier points than a relegated QPR. I really hope..

If we play as we have since the start of April, I think it'll be another win even if Southampton are up for it - we just have the winning mentality and are righting a lot of wrongs from earlier in the season. I also think Saints won't be that fussed about climbing the table now and will probably just want to avoid embarrassment and injuries - I think a 1-0 or 2-1. We'll want it a lot more, big atmosphere, attacking right from the first whistle.

We'll either win or draw this.

I've thought for ages the 6 point game will be Sunderland away.

I hate to think it, but I reckon it could come to that.

Don't think I'll be able to take the Sunderland game if we don't have any leeway by that point, which is why I think we need to win against Soton. It'll be the Burnley game all over again otherwise.

A mate of mine who is a Southampton fan is convinced we will win this one.... I wish I shared his optimism!

A win here and NOT losing against Sunderland will be enough I reckon. Unfortunately I see it being 1-1 in this game which will make it nervy against Sunderland!

My team for this game (3-4-3)

Gk.Kasper

Cb.Wasyl

Cb.Huth

Cb.Morgan

Lm.Schlupp

Cm.Cambiasso

Cm.King

Rm.Albrighton

St.Ulloa

Assuming they are all fit ofcourse.....

It would be nice to win and Sunderland not to win away at Everton.

If that happens we're are all but safe.

Now we have four teams below us then we only have ourselves to blame if we get relegated.

Win this, and we will be out at 12-1 or so, and rightly so.  We are already at 8-1 at some bookies.

I'm gonna stick a grand on us being relegated. 9 back would soften the blow, plus I have 5 on us staying up so it would weigh that out a bit!!

That would put us 4 clear of sland and we have to play them and they then have two more fixtures. I'm afraid whatever happens on Saturday, we still have to avoid defeat at sland in order to have a relaxed final fixture.

It would, but a win for us and defeat for Sunderland would put us in a superb position.

We'd go in knowing that even defeat would leave us a point ahead of them with superior goal difference, with us playing a by then already relegated side at home with them having to make up effectively a two point gap with visits to the top two.

Everton haven't lost at home in 2015 and have the fourth best form in the league, despite losing at Villa on Saturday, and Sunderland haven't won away since December.

This is an enormous opportunity for us to put some genuine breathing space between us and Sunderland, perhaps even Hull if Burnley can get a result there, at a crucial time of the season.

You must have more money than sense. 6 grand to waste on 2 footballing bets.
