I though we were down and out after that game aainst Dull but no!!!!!!!!! hard, scrappy game today, Sunderland had the best I think although Catermole could have picked up a fistful of yellow cards. But we got the point and for one other results went our way. Fantastic performance from Pearson and the team when everyone (including me) thought we were doomed. Baptism of fire passed through...let's slaugher QPR next week, and hen bring it all on again...

ceredigion Posted 16 May 2015 Posted 16 May 2015 Brilliant achievement for the club to have stayed up in the top flight for the 1st time since the 2000-01 season. Well done Nigel and all the players. You were written off by everyone but you just ignored them and got on with job splendidly. Let's beat QPR next week now and we might just finish above West Brom and climb another place in the table, which will be worth an extra few bob. I'm not really sure we can call it a Great Escape if it doesn't go down to the last match of the season though, but quite frankly who cares now?

Matt Posted 16 May 2015 Posted 16 May 2015 Normally I don't mind that we go 'under the radar', don't get much credit or news coverage, we just go about doing our business quietly, but I do hope we get the credit we deserve after this. It's the greatest escape the Premier League has ever seen. West Brom's was good a few years ago but this eclipse's that.
