desertfox2 Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 Quite surprised how close we are to some of the 'top sides' Spurs and Liverpool are 2 that were way worse than I thought they would be and they finished 5th and 6th. The top four looks like it will stay the same for a few years. Taking your chances is vital in the prem, more so than I thought, in the champ last year if we missed one it was almost like doesn't matter we will get more chances. Prem if you don't take your chances you get punished big time

lgfualol Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 The premier league is shit if we're losing The premier league is the best when we're winning

Guest Cujek Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 I have learnt that the attitude of some of the so called top players is rubbish, Baines smacking the pitch claiming a foul when no one touched him and Rooney moaning constantly to the ref stand out the most.

desertfox2 Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 Sterling was a disgrace at the KP All the potential there for wasting his potential..
desertfox2 Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 Another one is the standard of referees are much worse than I expected. Obviously you have good ones then ones that think morgan has five fingers on his forehead
desertfox2 Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 I hope we've learned not to be afraid of anyone. Our trouble during the winless runs was that we began every game cautiously, far too timidly at times. The first goal seems to shape more games in the PL than in other divisions. The s**t or bust mentality of those last few games showed that we can scare teams if we play to our strengths instead of trying to nullify theirs! This. It's probably normal for a team coming up and hopefully the run we have been on will set us up nicely for next season. We can't be too afraid of losing because it has the opposite affect and seems to make us scared of winning if that even makes sense. I know what I mean A bit like boxing with Tyson in his prime most of the guys he beat were so scared of him that they had already lost before they got in the ring. Scared to go at him so they just become a punch bag

desertfox2 Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 Don't know why my last comment posted 3 times?! Sorry but don't know how that happened only pressed post once
dayday Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 How the **** did we only get one point out of the Liverpool and Spurs games,we battered them Truthfully concentration is key,,we are a half decent side and we need to think like that
4everfox Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 I've learnt that referees in this league are pretty crap. Every single act of controversy gets scrutinized. 90% of mistakes get punished. Leicester are the best they have been since O'Neill. There are a fair share of teams that we are better then in every department. The owners aren't afraid to splash the cash.
Legend_in_blue Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 Each team does not have that many individual game changers compared with the last time we were in the PL imo. We've never really been done by individual brilliance that I can think of this season. It's much of a muchness and if we go at teams right from the off next season I think we'll be ok and finish comfortably mid-table.
Wymsey Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 Luck hasn't happen much, only sheer dedication and drive made us get through the 'turmoil'.
Corky Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 Every win is huge, even routine looking ones like 3-0 and 5-1 should be savoured. If we go at teams we're a decent side, when we're negative we look out of our depth.
sylofox Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 To not be scared of any team, even if it's the defending Champions. No defender likes being ran at, especially when it's the pace of Vardy at full speed. I think Pearson spent too much time trying to not lose, instead of trying to win, and we can't do that. Just go at teams. It's more entertaining to watch too. I think Nige forgot the best form of defence. Once he remembered even chelsea struggled. Lets hope he plays the whole of next season that way and we could depending on signing be looking at something special next season.
I blame Wellens Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 That it is possible to love another (magic) man more than your wife. Well for 90mins at least.
