Players who faded away

Neil Lennon perhaps the most stand-out one.

It can be argued that Heskey had a semi decent England Career... didnt do TOO badly for Liverpool, really.... didnt he get 20 goals in his first season there?

I meant more of the players that we have sold over the last 5-10 years. We rarely seem to sell someone who goes on to do well. McAuley, DJ Campbell are some of the players who I think did best after leaving us, which says it all tbh.

Richard Smith

I believe he now runs a firm loaning out skips.

That big eared kid who played for us in the late 70's/early 80's. Lineker I think his name was. Never heard anything of him since he left.....

Richard Smith just bought a season ticket in the Kop

You would think that the club would give him a ST for free

Marko futacs? Max Gradel ? I know he went Leeds for abit,,good player for us..

Gradel's playing in for a top six French Ligue 1 team and is tipped for a Premier League move in the summer, not exactly a fade...

Dave Buchanan? Stewart Hamill? Derek Strickland?

Whatever happened to that Harry Kane we had on loan? He looked a real talent, banging them in left right and centre, and stepping up when we really needed him. Not heard a peep since...

I agree, it's got to be Kerrea Gilbert, wasn't exactly amazing but he did a good job for us in League One. His decline can't be on footballing ability alone surely.

Pretty sure Laczko was in the Champions League a few years ago or something.

Played for Sampdoria for a couple of years, now back at Ferencvaros  according to wikipedia.

Good job Pearson got rid, the lad was never going to make it.

I vaguely remember Dave Buchanan's debut, seemed better than Lineker at the time. Shame his career was over before his mid twenties.
