Freesolo Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 How do you know? I Mean they look mature, Pearson's son looks about 30
hackneyfox Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Some people like to know the facts before calling for people to lose their jobs?I don't think so and nor do you.
gerrytaggart Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Why would you want to watch it? Does it not put you on a par with the players? Just like in the same way as watching Eastenders puts you on a par with Ian Beale??
hackneyfox Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Those watching the vid and then commenting on the size of players cocks don't do us any favours. Can't start to imagine what NFP must be going through. I'd be horrified if my son was to be involved in something like this, not sure exactly how I'd react.
hackneyfox Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Just like in the same way as watching Eastenders puts you on a par with Ian Beale??Some people find Eastenders entertaining, most don't find the sexual and racist abuse of women to be the same.
Guest MattP Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Why would you want to watch it? Does it not put you on a par with the players? To actually see for yourself what is FACT and then make a judgement on it rather than just believing what you have read in a red top? Seems a good idea for me. As for watching it putting you on a par with the players What the actual fcuk?
gerrytaggart Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Its a shameful incident, made worse by the fact that there was a genuine feel good vibe around the club. The racism is terrible...the attitudes shown are terrible...the camerawork, everything about this is terrible....but that doesnt stop it from being a prime subject for taking the piss.
Guest Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 "PREMIER LEAGUE STARS RACIST ORGY" does make it sound much more interesting than "3 leicester reserves shag some birds from thialand and one calls her a slit eye". This sort of comment betrays your age. The mysogeny and "power" angles here cannot be summed up with the word "shag". You're an intelligent guy and when you've lived a bit longer I'm sure you'd change your mind about this. Some people like to know the facts before calling for people to lose their jobs? I think you can know the facts without having to watch the uncut video. Do you have opinions on aushwitz, or forced prostitution or how bad Villa are without having to live through the circumstances? Its a shameful incident, made worse by the fact that there was a genuine feel good vibe around the club. The racism is terrible...the attitudes shown are terrible...the camerawork, everything about this is terrible....but that doesnt stop it from being a prime subject for taking the piss. But maybe in a joke thread in general chat or after a little time has passed.
gerrytaggart Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Some people find Eastenders entertaining, most don't find the sexual and racist abuse of women to be the same. Yes quite. And who exactly said that anyone on here did find that abhorent behaviour entertainment?...I was pointing out that you basically called anyone who watched it as bad as those involved?!...I genuinely hope you are not in any way involved in the justice system of this country.
Guest MattP Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Bloody good point actually, who was holding the camera?
Wymsey Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 It seemed that Tom Hopper did a few 'video selfies', personally.
yorkie1999 Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Yo, really? It's just hitting the news now across the globe. A long way from being "pretty much forgotten by the media". And think of the long-term consequences, it could potentially tarnish the club's image for a long time to come. Depends on how the deal with it, They could demonstrate how they deal with the antics of players by sacking them, unlike other clubs who have bowed to fan pressure and allowed players to continue at their club. John Terry for example.

Plus the lighting values are shocking.

gerrytaggart Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Godwin's Law anyone? Am I the only one who just googled this?
Fox Ulike Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Depends on how the deal with it, They could demonstrate how they deal with the antics of players by sacking them, unlike other clubs who have bowed to fan pressure and allowed players to continue at their club. John Terry for example. Antics. Travel to a third-world country on a work trip, end up in a bisexual orgy with women who are so poor that they will prostitute themselves for loose change. Humiliate and racially insult the women, whilst they perform degrading sexual acts on you. Oh, and film it and send it to your mates. Just lads’ antics. Mate, if our fanbase was just 100% lads then maybe there wouldn’t be a problem. But those smaller, smooth-faced people with funny shoes that you see at football matches aren’t smurfs. They’re called WOMEN! Get used to them, they ain’t going away.
cc_star Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Bloody good point actually, who was holding the camera? Sunday Mirror journo?
Babylon Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 I think you can know the facts without having to watch the uncut video. Do you have opinions on aushwitz, or forced prostitution or how bad Villa are without having to live through the circumstances? You don't half post some utter rubbish sometimes. After reading through this site and then watching the video it's pretty clear most people have an opinion... but an ill informed one. Watching the video (which I can only presume was all there is to see) changed my perspective completely, because one player was at the centre of it and he seems to have been the one whose comments have caused the most outrage. Now I might not agree with what the other two are doing and they still need to be dealt with. But it changed my mind from an instantly sacking of all three, to the definite sacking of one and some serious consideration about the other two. I don't think so and nor do you. Well yes I do because that's exactly why I watched it and it changed my opinion.

My opinion was originally formed having read the article and comments on here, after I watched the full uncensored video I held a different opinion of what should happen to the three players.

inckley fox Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Is this the kind of thing you disown your kid for? I mean, if you're manager of a premier league club, having already been in the spotlight a number of times this year, and you son completely throws your name into disregard again. What do you do? You'd guess Pearson would say his bit as a pro and as a dad - along the lines of 'you're on your own with this one' / 'you've let me down' etc. - and then move on, working on the perspective that his son will have to do a lot of growing up as a consequence of this. If you go into a lengthy sulk, as understandable as that would be, it could cause a lot of damage. But he'll have known the risks of giving his son a helping hand as he did, people will have warned him about the potential consequences of that a long time ago, though I doubt anyone could have imagined this. As far as sympathy is concerned; it's a sad thing that girls should subject themselves to this kind of thing, and you have to hope that the players will become better people as a consequence of it. I hope the club do something towards their re-education before pulling the trigger, or while pulling the trigger. But I have a lot of sympathy for Nigel here. Is he still in Thailand? It's going to be a hard time for him and I hope he still gets his hiking trip to the Carpathian Mountains or wherever to get his head together, just as I hope the club strikes the balance between punishment for three guys who may not be complete idiots but have certainly behaved like complete idiots, and respect for an outstanding servant to the club who's caught up in the middle of this. As a fan I'm caught between dismay at what's happened - albeit tempered by not knowing the full circumstances - and the knowledge that our outrage is going to make the manager's position very difficult (though by no means untenable). I hope Nigel comes out of this with honour, and I hope he gets over it and moves on - in his professional and private life - very quickly.

You can choose which guys and girls you have sex with. You can choose whether you film yourself. And you can choose to have an "orgy" disrespecting the nation that are welcoming you on a BUSINESS trip. All 3 need to be sacked for unprofessional conduct.
Guest MattP Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Selfie stick? If James Pearson can balance a phone on his piece he wouldn't even need to buy a selfie stick.
