If it is resolved he will just say it is a club matter and out ofhis hands and regarding his son it will be private. I would not like the three hounded out of the club if it affected the rest of their playing careers. Not playing 1st team football for City will be bad enough. What club would take them on though? A first or second division club maybe where the media attention would be less. What they did was wrong but do not deserve a lifelong punishment for it. In 5-10 years who knows they could be Premiership players. Nah thats a joke. But they will be a lot maturer and at a lower tier club in a position to help youth players not make the same life choices although end of season would be to Skeggy instrad of Thailand. What is the chance of it happening in Skeggy? Maybe the three could hand in transfer requests and donate any owed money to charity. I doubt there would be much of a transfer fee. Even so they could swap for youth players on short contracts. Does Pearson jnr live with Nigel?

The angle that the media haven’t yet covered is how Nigel Pearson could allow this to happen. This has happened on Nigel’s watch, and what’s more, it’s his own son! Honestly, I don’t think it would happen – but there’s a small chance that Pearson snr will feel he has to resign over this. How can he claim to control the whole squad when he can’t even control his own son? He will, at some point, have to bear some responsibility for what has happened, both as a manager and a father. The media will have a field day. This is not going to just quietly disappear.

Whether they were made aware of their responsibilities prior to leaving might be an issue. But anyone with an ounce of common sense would be aware that their actions were totally unacceptable. The only way I see Pearson resigning is if he feels he needs to support his family, rather than the club.

Sure the odd article will still get written but most papers have moved on to other stories already, that's just how they work, they have short attention spans and these players aren't exactly names to keep momentum with it. Most likely as they're not big names, but it wouldn't take much to track the girls down or the girl's parents and run a story, it could have legs for as long as they want it to. Can't imagine LCFC is a big seller of papers nationwide though and especially not development squad players. The frustrating thing is that it will all get dragged up again when their fate is decided, if they had made a swift triple sacking on the day then as a club we would be applauded for our swift decisive action and zero tolerance for such behaviour and then we wouldn't get the story resurfacing every few weeks and the players will be referred to as ex-Leicester players rather than "Premier league stars".

I don't think it is going to get worse, but it will drag on, it had crossed my mind about an expose from one of them about how they all do it, fortunately they haven't been around the first team long enough to be able to try and expose any of the first team, but it may be that a number of academy lads have been involved and further midemeanors could come to light. This may be why they haven't been sacked yet as they are negotiating some sort of gagging order. This is pure speculation, but it did cross my mind that they could make matters worse for the club if they are sacked.
