Strokes Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 News just in. Following a tongue lashing from club officials, tom hopper offers a (w)hole hearted apology.
Mike Oxlong Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 They've basically caught wind of our concern to how this would impact our relations with the owners/Thai people. Subsequently now ramming it down everyone's throats tomorrow it will be "Thai owners disgust at young prem stars......." Ect. It's out there, and it's being dealt with red headers, so leave it and print something about a fat woman and benefits. "Catching wind" and "ramming down throats" Have you watched that video quite a lot?
Baggieboy1 Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Thought I would sign up after reading this thread it has been one of a kind and had me in stitches last night some utterly superb comments. Anyway asides from that I thought I could maybe add an opinion as I have visited your owners homeland three times. Beautiful country and unfortunately like somebody already mentioned they couldn't have picked a worse place to say what they did. luckily they are back home and out of harms way as if the locals caught wind ( no pun ) of this then it would have been like watching three rampant rabbits getting teared apart by a pack of wolves and that's just the police , Thailand very different country with at least three massive rules very different to over here they breached probably two of those very badly in fact the only thing worse they could of done is probably put there toes in the girls mouths they don't seem to far from that from the video I saw but thankfully they didn't go the full whack. An Ozzie journo got put inside a jail in Bangkok for dissing Buddha for months so these three should really count there blessings. The owners will be massively offended I'm guessing but as per many have said if the three very naive young men are realeased hopefully that can go along way to ending it. Look forward to our games next season two very well competed matches last season, Enjoy your summer.
Guest MattP Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Firstly what on earth are they doing, if the owners have paid for this trip you have to wonder what they are thinking in getting involved in stuff like this, let alone actually filming it and sending it back, they must surely have realised things like this get about somehow in this day and age? My first impression was that all three should resign, at least if they did that they could gather a slight bit of respect back and maybe work towards rebuilding their careers elsewhere and at least prtending to the nation they are 'educating' themselves to be better people. Having now watched the full uncensored video I probably think only Hopper should be sacked, he's the instigator and the one who has thrown the 'racist' abuse towards the girl. The other two clearly shouldn't have been getting upto this but they don't appear to have committed gross misconduct. As fans I actually think we need to be careful, if we do take such a moral position on this we would have to be consistent in the future, would be prepared to sack Albrighton, Vardy, Kramaric and Ulloa for doing similar? it's very easy to demand sackings of three players who will never play for us, it gets a lot harder when you know the team would be severly impacted losing people. One other thing James Pearson - what a schlong.
Guest MattP Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 As for the Daily Mirror, less said the better = "racist" orgy because of one comment about someone's eyes and last night even trying to throw a veiled peadophile angle on it, quite shocking.
Mike Oxlong Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/comment/leicester-city-sex-tape-so-the-lower-ranks-of-football-are-as-sordid-and-sinister-as-the-top-10290234.html Interesting article. Can't disagree with any of it.

Isn't the touching the top of ones head the most disrespectful act one can do? Thanks for signing up though, really insightful.

Just so I know for future orgies, how many racial slurs (sorry, physical observations about body parts) does it take before my sex romp is actually racist?

Baggieboy1 Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 " one comment about someone's eyes " is also a worthy contender for quote of the thread by the way too.

Look forward to our games next season two very well competed matches last season, Enjoy your summer. heard a story years ago someone got years for drawing a moustache on a picture of the King,as you are probably aware having been you insult the King and you are in it big time.Different culture. You insult one of their own and the whole country turns,as you say they needed to get out of Thailand fast.At what point do you think" I've got a great idea, film me being rimmed,oh and don't forget to send it to my mates"
Guest MattP Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Personally I think you have to be willing to sack whoever it is if the conduct justifies it. Otherwise it would be impossible to maintain standards. So do I. Just making the point had this been Vardy, Ulloa and Kramaric or something I think the general tone would be 'they need to apologise, be re-educated and give it 150% next season to show the owners how sorry they are" rather than "Sack all three" within hours of it happening. It's a lot easier to want to banish three youth team players than your whole strikeforce.
lgfualol Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Lots of angry Thai people on the official Facebook page.
Guest MattP Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Just so I know for future orgies, how many racial slurs (sorry, physical observations about body parts) does it take before my sex romp is actually racist? For it to be a totally racist orgy I think you would probably have to be talking about something Max Moseley style, certainly the line is somewhere in between in that and one comment from one participant. " one comment about someone's eyes " is also a worthy contender for quote of the thread by the way too. Why? That's what it was, have you watched the video? I'm not denying the absurdity of the comment and I've stated I think the person who said it should be dismissed so I'm hardly going easy on Hopper, but from what we have seen on the video, we have one racial slur in an orgy involving 6 people. I heard a guy shout something offensive about gays at the Birmingham away game last season, did that make it a homophobic away end?
cambridgefox Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 What are you talking about??? Massive rules? Teared apart? Isn't the touching the top of ones head the most disrespectful act one can do? Thanks for signing up though, really insightful.Touching people with feet, pointing with feet is a big no no.Head is the most sacred ,but feet are deemed dirty.Strange that the national sport results in using them to kick each other's heads in most of the time.perhaps that's why because it's one of the worst things you can do touching the head, but with your feet it's the ultimate insult.
lavrentis Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 L0L you can bog off out of it then. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near you if I had an erection. No offence pal. Seriously though if I was an orgy master, with your winning personality you'd be a welcome guest as long as you didn't brush your helmet up against my thigh or anything. dont knock it til you been shadrached
Mike Oxlong Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 If there were a Champions League for controversy we'd have had the open top bus parade and the cup locked in the trophy cabinet by now.
Babylon Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Just so I know for future orgies, how many racial slurs (sorry, physical observations about body parts) does it take before my sex romp is actually racist? I'd say "racist sex orgy" implies something different to what it actually was. First and foremost it was an orgy and one person then made a racist comment. You'd think they were blacked up doing the black and white minstrel show and having sex with kids if you were going off mirror headlines. Ps. that's something I thought I'd never right in this part of the forum.

Unfortunately not you go to a muay thai fight, cinema etc you stand up when the national anthem is played, To be honest mate even if as you said touching people's head was the only one it is a massive no no, we do it over here as a sign of friendship especially when playing sport but it's just very different over there that's just the way it is but dont underestimate how important it is to be respectful out there.

It was a little boys' power trip, degrading women (anyone wanting to argue about those having sex perhaps not being degraded is irrelevant, women in general were degraded).
Frank to be Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Hopper is the one who really seems to revel in the aggressive misogyny and sounds like it was he who said the racist comment. He seems like a real nasty piece of work. The others, just dumb and stupid. That said, we don't know how much worse it got off camera. Then again maybe it was all FOR the camera. For the avoidance of doubt and to make a statement sack all three. And yes I would be saying the same whichever players it was. Being good at football doesn't excuse racism in my eyes and nor should it for anyone else.

Eh??? So you've been 3 times, have you considered writing a book about your travels? Also you went to the cinema whilst on holiday?
