England v Ireland and Slovenia

Jones at right back?

Lallana over Walcott?

Chris Smalling?

Rooney over Austin & Vardy?

Milner?

Surely a friendly would be the perfect time to play your inform players, to try new things?

It's always the same old shit with England.

Smalling in fairness has had a decent season but I agree with the others. Jones at right back is a scandalous choice given Clyne's fully fit, is a better player and actually a right back. Baffling stuff.

Really glad we've gone with a front three of Rooney, Lallana and Sterling over using Austin and Vardy. lol

The lack of effort is so obvious, they don't give a ****. Probably because it's meaningless and mainly because they know that no matter how shit they play, and how little effort they put in, they won't be losing their spots.

I ****ing hate Stirling.

So, so overrated and his reputation goes before him - Ok he got caught by a foot in the face then but I had it down as a dive before the replay because 9 times out of 10 that's all he does, dive.

Rooney is the England captain and has played well for Manchester United this season; he should be in the team - saying otherwise is looking through blue-tinted glasses

Cahill always looks like he's putting in the effort mind you with Jones and Smalling either side of him he had to.

So Rooney breaks his leg today, with Welbeck already injured, a ton of other strikers in the U21, we're left with two untried players making they're first starts in competetive game. Nothing wrong with experimenting in friendlies, wouldn't hurt to leave Rooney out of these games once in a while.
