Dan LCFC Posted 7 June 2015 Share Posted 7 June 2015 5 minutes in and I'm already struggling to see the point of this. The atmosphere's dead and no-one looks arsed. Â Vardy will light this game up if used properly. Get him on.
TOMBlcfc Posted 7 June 2015 Share Posted 7 June 2015 Very suprised that Walcott isn't playing. Really hope Vards comes on, will make england worth watching!
My Nads Posted 7 June 2015 Share Posted 7 June 2015 Can someone tell me how the fu** this is a step up! It's just like every other England game. No effort what so ever!
Ross-Kemp Posted 7 June 2015 Share Posted 7 June 2015 Jones at right back? Lallana over Walcott? Chris Smalling? Rooney over Austin & Vardy? Milner? Surely a friendly would be the perfect time to play your inform players, to try new things? It's always the same old shit with England.

Dan LCFC Posted 7 June 2015 Share Posted 7 June 2015 Smalling in fairness has had a decent season but I agree with the others. Jones at right back is a scandalous choice given Clyne's fully fit, is a better player and actually a right back. Baffling stuff.
Facecloth Posted 7 June 2015 Share Posted 7 June 2015 Really glad we've gone with a front three of Rooney, Lallana and Sterling over using Austin and Vardy. The lack of effort is so obvious, they don't give a ****. Probably because it's meaningless and mainly because they know that no matter how shit they play, and how little effort they put in, they won't be losing their spots. Steve_Walsh5 Posted 7 June 2015 Share Posted 7 June 2015 Maybe they should have let it be an evening kick off so people had plenty of time to drink. You might have actually got a bit of atmosphere then.
Matt Posted 7 June 2015 Share Posted 7 June 2015 I ****ing hate Stirling. Â So, so overrated and his reputation goes before him - Ok he got caught by a foot in the face then but I had it down as a dive before the replay because 9 times out of 10 that's all he does, dive. Guest ttfn Posted 7 June 2015 Share Posted 7 June 2015 Rooney is the England captain and has played well for Manchester United this season; he should be in the team - saying otherwise is looking through blue-tinted glasses

Cahill always looks like he's putting in the effort mind you with Jones and Smalling either side of him he had to.
Facecloth Posted 7 June 2015 Share Posted 7 June 2015 Rooney is the England captain and has played well for Manchester United this season; he should be in the team - saying otherwise is looking through blue-tinted glasses So Rooney breaks his leg today, with Welbeck already injured, a ton of other strikers in the U21, we're left with two untried players making they're first starts in competetive game. Nothing wrong with experimenting in friendlies, wouldn't hurt to leave Rooney out of these games once in a while.
Dan LCFC Posted 7 June 2015 Share Posted 7 June 2015 This game is basically Leicester's season. 80% of it shite and then Vardy comes and saves it all. Fear not.
