Monsell1976 Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 Ian Wright is asking for vardy, come on boring Roy, do the right thing
Matt Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 Without being bias I think the game is calling out for Jamie Vardy, he'd change this game, inject some energy.
ealingfox Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 Christ you know a games been muck when even the pundits are ragging on it. That Ireland side is abject poverty and the fact we are on their level is really painful.
AyewJoking Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 Never expect much entertainment from an England friendly but this is dull dull dull. If Vardy doesnt start the second half I'm gonna rip the cats head off and send it to Roy Hodgson.
My Nads Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 Time for vards to wake this game up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Actually starting to wonder why albrighton isn't in this squad as well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk It wont be too much longer before Albrighton gets a call up.

Dan Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 Load of subs on the way apparently. There may be hope yet. We're learning if Sterling - Rooney - Lallana can work as a coherent front 3 against weaker opposition. Looks like they're struggling. Objectively that's far more likely to bring England success than Rooney-Austin-Vardy for example so it makes sense to try that first.I agree with you that we should try out players on the fringes but there's no point in having whole swathes of the team being experimental because when push comes to shove we're not going to line up without Rooney in an important match unless he's injured and if he is injured there are 2 other strikers miles ahead of everybody else in the queue. Given that those 2 are absent today there is no value in leaving Rooney out at all.Arguably Hodgson is trying out players on the fringes anyway - Bertrand is making his first start and Lallana, Jones and Milner are hardly first XI mainstays. The likes of Vardy and Austin aren't on the fringes of he XI, they're on the fringes of the squad - Hodgson is giving them a chance in the squad and hopefully they'll get a chance to show what they can do on the pitch with some of the better players to show that they should actually be squad regulars and on the fringes of the first XI instead. We aren't because they'd rather not be there. A friendly at this time of the year is absolutely moronic at best.
lgfualol Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 Bring on Vardy and Austin. Give us a taste of next season.
Corky Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 What highlights will they show from that first half? Hardly a shot on target (Hart tipped wide a shot going wide) and nothing else.
Matt Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 No changes for England yet....Woy are you taking the piss.
Bryn Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 ****ing no changes are you serious? What are we learning from Milner, Henderson and Sterling here?
Matt Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 Scholsy wants Vardy on too! Now I have always like Scholes!
shailen Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 This game is crying out for Vardy. Someone to run the channels because it's so narrow at the moment. Scholes and Wright want him on
