chicagofox Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 What is Nigel Pearson FC exactly? I always wanted to know that. What division are they in again? Besides, Pearson has to return to management first (and that swiftly) and turn us over first before your wet dream becomes reality. It's not my wet dream and nor did I make up the NPFC term.
ealingfox Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Denied the chance to become the best manager in the clubs history (if he wasn't already). All the best Nigel, hope you rise to the top where you belong soon. Class act He definitely wasn't already.
ScouseFox Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Well then, I must be wrong. glad we cleared that up, thought it'd take you longer to understand. played.
chicagofox Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Denied the chance to become the best manager in the clubs history (if he wasn't already). All the best Nigel, hope you rise to the top where you belong soon. Class act Perhaps. Or he has been denied the chance to have another horrendous run of results again next season and be sacked then. Perhaps.
BlueSi13 Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Overseas cigarette sales provided the money to buy and revitalize this club....just a thought for you to consider.. As for Nigel Pearson, his teams definitely played some great stuff, and were frequently a joy to watch. Walking the champo and the great escape are achievements of great distinction, and I only hope in the future he gets to do it again for a new club. Did it? If I recall Pearson was doing a bang up job revitalising the club without Thai involvement. Thai involvement that then proceeded to set the club back three years before Pearson dug them out of the shit again.
chicagofox Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 glad we cleared that up, thought it'd take you longer to understand. played. Played? Can you please explain this.
Viva Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Denied the chance to become the best manager in the clubs history (if he wasn't already). All the best Nigel, hope you rise to the top where you belong soon. Class act Let's not get too carried away with the love-in. He certainly was not the best we've ever had!
MC Prussian Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 It's not my wet dream and nor did I make up the NPFC term. Then stop spoiling this thread with your naughty input and read upon Nigel Pearson FC first. It was disbanded and founded again several times in the past six years, merged with Leicester City FC at some point and gave the long-ailing Midlands club its most successful period in over a decade.
BlueSi13 Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Perhaps. Or he has been denied the chance to have another horrendous run of results again next season and be sacked then. Perhaps. For the millionth time. We finished 14th. Where did you expect us to finish before the season started may I ask? Let's not get too carried away with the love-in. He certainly was not the best we've ever had! In your opinion. Tell us who you think deserves top spot?
Voll Blau Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 People who like a successful manager are not (necessarily) fans of Nigel Pearson FC. But someone who says they will celebrate when that manager returns and turns us over is no fan of Leicester City FC. You mean like he turned us over before yeah?
chicagofox Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 For the millionth time. We finished 14th. Where did you expect us to finish before the season started may I ask? In your opinion. Tell us who you think deserves top spot? I certainly didn't expect us to finish much above, if at all above, 14th place.
ImBlue Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Did it? If I recall Pearson was doing a bang up job revitalising the club without Thai involvement. Thai involvement that then proceeded to set the club back three years before Pearson dug them out of the shit again. Well Mandaric was losing money, so that couldn't go on forever. Plus the investment in the facilities count for nothing towards promotion then?
Viva Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 For the millionth time. We finished 14th. Where did you expect us to finish before the season started may I ask? In your opinion. Tell us who you think deserves top spot? Well for starters, O'Neill with 4 top half finishes, 2 cups and a cup final would be ahead of him. A few others before my time would also be more deserving of that honour.
ImBlue Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 You mean like he turned us over before yeah? Let him try and get a job in the same league first..

BlueSi13 Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Well Mandaric was losing money, so that couldn't go on forever. Plus the investment in the facilities count for nothing towards promotion then? Plucking at straws now. If it's investment in facilities that proved to be the difference then why couldn't Sousa or Eriksson make better use of them?
kimsalabim Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Been through both of the times to know what I am talking about, and to take us up through 2 divisions and keep us in the Premier League was just as important an achievement as winning those League Cups. We'd be nowhere effing near the Premier League if it hadn't have been for Nigel Pearson. I'll support the club evermore, but the decision to take him out of his job, even 2 weeks on, after getting a high-profile replacement, is still stone-cold ridiculous. What will be, will be, but to get into the spirit of this thread, Thank You Nigel Pearson, for giving us a club I can be once again proud to support. Thank You for giving us Premier League Football Thank You for the good times And... Thankyou for giving me and my mate a bollocking in the Crystal Palace cup tie in the League One season, when we had to go to our seats via the Players' tunnel. (true story) We effing loved it. The lot of it. :chant: There's only one Nigel Pearson.
Voll Blau Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Let him try and get a job in the same league first.. He had one. With us. We're still in that league.
JP the Fox Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 For the first time in a long time I was going to games with a completely positive outlook on the day, that's all thanks to Nigel. The boys in blue were one of the most feared teams in the BPL that's all thanks to Nigel. We had a player picked for the Engaland team, the first in ****ing 10 years! That's all thanks to Nigel. I am Leicester till I die and that's all thanks to Nigel. So thank you for the great times Mr.Pearson I will miss your big square head and your personality that brought our club in to the limelight for good and bad reasons. Good luck and keep the faith because you are an honourary fox...and we never ****ing quit!!!
BlueSi13 Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Well for starters, O'Neill with 4 top half finishes, 2 cups and a cup final would be ahead of him. A few others before my time would also be more deserving of that honour. O'Neill is a good shout but for me Pearson wins as we had sunk to our lowest ever level when he took over and year on year has improved us to get us back in the big time for the first time in a decade. When O'Neill took over we had been a Premier League club the season before. Pearson also has a far greater win %. I really don't agree with anybody before O'Neill.

Along with establishing us a a comfortable top half Premier League team and winning 2 trophies? I don't think you can compare the two.

He has a greater win percentage because most it was in League One or the Championship! O'Neill was top flight apart from the year he took us up. You are a bit too blinded by the current i'm afraid.
