Strokes Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Dear Nigel, Why did they give you the boot? A PM is fine. Mike I got caught finger blasting Susan Whelan in the boardroom, but keep it between me and you please.
Mike Oxlong Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 I got caught finger blasting Susan Whelan in the boardroom, but keep it between me and you please. Serves you right getting the sack. You showed a real lack of judgement. Should never have done it in the boardroom with the Holiday Inn just over the way.
Thracian Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Can't imagine any City fan wouldn't wish Pearson well and accept that he did so much for our club in so many ways. I certainly think so for all that I remain unsurprised by the owners' decision to wave him goodbye.

MC Prussian Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Sad to see this chapter's close for good now. I thoroughly enjoyed your time at Leicester, Nigel. I wish you all the best for the future and may someone spill the beans at one point as to why you were sacked a second third time as Leicester City manager.
ousefox Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 I can imagine him going to a club like Forest or Derby if he wants to stay local. Good luck to him if he does - I'd hope our fans wouldn't get pissed off if he did after all he's done for us.
lestalee Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Will always be grateful to the bloke. He should still be our manager now, but wish him all the best wherever he goes. I'm sure he'll be successful. Cheers for giving me a club, and a set of players, to be proud of supporting for the first time in a while. He's not fvcking dead you know. wah ha ha ha,,well said
ImBlue Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 A healthy pay off was his goodbye. He was a football manager of a club we support, not a relative moving to the other side of the earth.
eblair Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 A healthy pay off was his goodbye. He was a football manager of a club we support, not a relative moving to the other side of the earth. so it's much worse than a relative
Soar Fox Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Thank you Nigel for making me proud of our club again. Gave me fantastic memories over his 2 spells at the club, and genuinely thought he was building something great at the club. Just hope people realise how good you were for us and that they might realise the grass isn't always greener.

ImBlue Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 so it's much worse than a relative I don't mean mother in law..
biggs Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 There was so much but the last two season endings were nothing but unreal for me. Over 100pts sealing the Championship followed by the run in this year. There were times I could have throttled the man myself but overall IMO he shares the spotlight with MON as top manager for Leicester. .......not only do I support Leicester but like so many on here Leicester is part of me. Pearson was a major topic of discussion so many times. Good times, bad times but overall the good outweighed the bad and he'll be missed game days and post game by many. Good Luck wherever you end up.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Nige was the wind beneath my wings. He satisfied my urges. He was my muse, my flame. Goodnight sweetheart x
southfox66 Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 If Watford or Norwich have any sense they'd go for Nigel, if you looking for someone to keep you up and believe you have chance of survival, even when the chips stacked against you, you won't find a better manager, if it wasn't for Pearson we'd be looking forward to championship football in less than a months time, fact and no one here can say otherwise.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Can all the c***s please refrain from posting in this one thread? If you can't appreciate what Pearson has done for Leicester City, then you are not a Leicester City fan. The man was a club legend and the chapter has finally come to a close, actually a bit sad but the world keeps on turning. Will always be grateful for everything he did and I firmly believe we'd be lingering around lower mid-table in the Championship right now had he not come back May he find more success in his next task, working with owners who care more about the football business than overseas cigarette sales. Cheers

Cheers Yep..possibly not the choicest use of language, but I gotta agree with this. This is a Pearson appreciation thread. Let's keep it as such. The man has done a great job at LCFC and will go down in my book as being the best manager we've had in many many years.

Cheers Maybe you ought to just stick to thanking Pearson rather than making barbed comments at the the owners then. You're just roping more people in.

You're just roping more people in. It was an honest message of thanks to Nige. You obviously have a grudge against him, why not just stay out of a thread that is quite clearly pro-Pearson. Thanks.
Ansteyfox Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Ditto to all the positive comments. Good luck Nigel.
artursteppe Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 the only leicester manager i've ever had respect for while growing up i wish the best for ranieri, but pearson was special Aaaaaaa bless!
Clever Fox Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 He Deserves everyone's support and appreciation. He took our club to new highs as a football club. Not just the first team but right the way through to the science side of things. Good luck in your next appointment. I'm sure he will have plenty of offers.
