So having purchased a new box so I can move onto kodi 17 I've found out that Fusion Installer is gone. 

Is it coming back? 

The repos I've tried to put Exodus on by other means don't seem to be working. Any hints for ways round this or other movie/ tv addons worth trying?

There's  a thing called Ares that has exodus. YouTube how to install it mate

Does anyone know of an alternative to Sports Mania? Haven't used it since the end of the PL season and only just noticed online that it has been inactive for weeks.

 

Also only just noticed that Phoenix is no more. Any recommendations for alternatives?

Always wondered about these boxes and are they worth getting?

 

I'm currently paying £43 for Sky TV package with sky sports as well, so was thinking if its actually worth investing in a kodi box as i think i have a good deal from sky?

It depends on how much you are prepared to mess about re-configuring your box every couple of months in order to save money each and every month. 

 

Ask yourself if you can do without Sky Sports.  I didn't think I could, but then I went for it and haven't looked back.  In fact, I don't even hunt out sports streams online anymore as I rarely watch sport live.

 

Second, ask yourself can you do without Sky Atlantic.  This has caused a problem for me, but this is where the box comes into its own.  I've caught up on Westworld, The Grand Tour (although this is Amazon prime) and rewatched some GoT episodes thanks to it. 

 

I don't use the box all that often - just dip in and out when it suits.  It's a shame Sky don't allow you to do the same with your subscription.  It's all or nothing with them.

 

Drop Sky, take on a BT TV subscription (mine is £10 a month for the lot) and possibly top it up with Netflix.  That's all the TV I need.  BT TV is as good as Sky imo minus Sky Atlantic of course.  Mind you, you could pay £80+ with Virgin and still not have that flaming channel.

My IUDTV ran out this week and I've still not renewed it. It's okay, 3,000 odd channels but it's not always reliable. Are there any good alternatives out there? I pay $50 a year.

Well I got an app off Google play but I've activated my pass and it won't show HDMI streams on mobile devices apparently. I'm watching on my computer but the stream is jerky. I've had better off sportsdevil.
