But really am wondering what is going on nothing but paper talk. And the person that said Cambi was ready to sign for Nige is saying nothing looks close if at all. Not ITK just got a rumour that I would trust also trusting this atm. Been told the club have locked down even more so than when Nige was here.

shailen Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Not sure if Cambiasso did not sign because of the managerial change. His mind seemed made up at the QPR game with his body language. Think for him this season was all about proving to the world, he still had it, and he did that. He knows he can attract most clubs in Europe so why would he stay? Like it or not, we were always going to be a stepping stone, but whilst it lasted it was wonderful to see a world class player playing for us.

However - it could just be that CR is sussing out the current squad and taking a measured approach to all this. No we've played some friendlies, I think there will be some movement happening in the next couple of weeks - not quick enough though for those of us who keep looking at this site two or three times a day. Didn't this happen last summer though?
