mullet Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Am I correct in saying that Ulloa is the only striker that hasn't scored in pre-season? Anyone concerned as he was the top scorer last season?
filbertway Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Yep. If he carries on this form he's going to be lucky to hit 5 this year.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Am I correct in saying that Ulloa is the only striker that hasn't scored in pre-season? Anyone concerned as he was the top scorer last season? Wouldn't draw any conclusions from preseason games. Nugent was absolutely on fire last summer, scored for fun... until the season actually started.
Wymsey Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Think he's the weakest link of the strikeforce, quite slow and sloppy at times. Nugent > Ulloa, personally.

TheUltimateWinner Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 I've not been able to get an erection since the start of pre season my sex life is ruined
Grewks Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 I'm more concerned that our fans are picking kramaric and okazaki based on pre-season goals.....than actual goals in the prem. Ulloa has to be the first striker on the team sheet, only proven striker we have.
RedSoxUK Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Definitely does enough to warrant a start, great poaching ability - think he had one of the best ratios from shots in the box / goals scored. And he's an enormous contribution in defence. Personally not worried, if he's not hitting it, there's plenty of others who will.
Grewks Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Think he's the weakest link of the strikeforce, quite slow and sloppy at times. Nugent > Ulloa, personally. Just like costa is the weaklink for chelsea? Ulloa is slow and clumsy compared to vardy and mahrez....just like costa is slow and clumsy compared to willian and hazard. But ulloa and costa score goals.

Harry - LCFC Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 No, it's pre-season form which can never be taken too seriously. I'll be concerned if he starts the season poorly.
mullet Posted 2 August 2015 Author Posted 2 August 2015 I agree However he's the only striker we have with any decent height look at the goal he scored against Man Utd none of our other strikers would of got that I just hope we play the passing game
Blanesta Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Am I correct in saying that Ulloa is the only striker that hasn't scored in pre-season? Anyone concerned as he was the top scorer last season? I think he has decided he wants to play for Bayer Leverkusen.

Danno Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Think he's the weakest link of the strikeforce, quite slow and sloppy at times. Nugent > Ulloa, personally. Hahahaha

Stadt Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 nugent brings nothing that our other strikers don't have pace, Vardy trickery, Kram hardwork, Vardy and Okazaki finishing, Krama and Ulloa heading, Ulloa Nuge is a useful squad player but he's not good enough to start.
Haydos Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Think he's the weakest link of the strikeforce, quite slow and sloppy at times. Nugent > Ulloa, personally. That thing I was saying about you posting nonsense. You seemed shocked. This is why.
Wymsey Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Each to their own, and that; do doubt I'm the only one thinking about who to prefer out of those two. Also, I doubt I'm the only one who thinks you're arrogant and 'looks down on others' on here sadly.
RedSoxUK Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 He may be but I don't see that lasting long. I think he'll be a way down the order long before Christmas. Honestly doubt it. Only exception would be if Ulloa starts actually playing dogshit in games, and if Ranieri employs a ground ball attitude meaning Ulloa's height advantage is less in the attacking sense.
