General Smuts Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 I can't remember, it was down our end coming down our left channel. Right back or right side centre back, don't think it was Jenkinson, think it was one of the massive black lads. It was Jenkinson who is fecking rapid. EDIT: From a corner so he would have been one of those left back.
HEGGSY Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 Was definitely Jenkinson, couldn't believe it, didn't realise he was that quick.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 Vardy should bottle his piss and sell it as energy drinks
ImBlue Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 Yep, no slouch jenkinson. Was second behind vardy on the top speed charts in the sun.. Only by like 0.4mph though!
Father Ted Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 Jenkinson is rapid. I'm sure Chris Waddle said in commentary once 'that lad could catch pigeons he's that quick'
Dan Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 1. Vardy 2. Schlupp 3. De Laet 4. Mahrez 5. Kante (???)
AyewJoking Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 Harry Redknapp said Theo Walcott could run through a puddle without making a splash, he'd probably do his hamstring though
Finnegan Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 Shows how good my short term memory is, don't think it was the half Finnish lad, think it was one of the massive black lads. It was Jenkinson. Not much difference there then.
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 Sprinting is all about cardio recovery. A player's sprint speed and capacity will fluctuate throughout the game. A fresh Vardy would skin anyone on the pitch on Saturday, except probably De Laet. Vardy's stamina is more impressive than his top speed, it's what makes him appear so quick all the time. I'm not saying he's slow but his capacity to maintain sprint speed for so long is what makes him stand out. The incident in question was towards the end of the game, I remember it, Vardy looked shagged. His opponent (Jenkinson) had been on the pitch from the start too, and he looked blisteringly fast, i couldn't believe it. When Kasper took the kick i thought what a great kick, great shape on it and here we go as Vardy was off after it, but the full back came across like a train.

LCFC FOX Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 What about slowest five then? Starting with the slowest. Schwarzer Hammond Morgan Simpson? Ulloa? hard to pick actually
ImBlue Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 What about slowest five then? Starting with the slowest. Schwarzer Hammond Morgan Simpson? Ulloa? hard to pick actually Morgan in ahead of Huth/ Wasilewski? I must watch a different side but Wes I watch isn't slow across the ground.
Merging Cultures Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 Morgan in ahead of Huth/ Wasilewski? I must watch a different side but Wes I watch isn't slow across the ground. Clearly if you don't think Wasyl is very very fast.
ImBlue Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 Clearly if you don't think Wasyl is very very fast. get to a few games lad and stop reading talk sport articles that tell you him and jagielka are the fastest players in the leagueEdit: Hold on.. Were you being sarcastic?
Merging Cultures Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 lol lol get to a few games lad and stop reading talk sport articles that tell you him and jagielka are the fastest players in the leagueI've been to a few son, and watched him on TV enough. But yes, he is fast. They have things called statistics, which they gather using technology. It might be too complex for you to understand though. Perhaps you'll learn about it next term when school starts again.

You want to get to more games mate. Honestly the most idiotic post ever, 'wasyl is very very fast'
Merging Cultures Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 Forget technology, I have eyes and a season ticket..Ah yes, I forgot they trump technology.Enjoy the season ticket. I wonder if you are that annoying 12 year old near my old man and brother.
AKCJ Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 I'm fairly fast when I drop a bit of food. Absolutely rapid in fact. Forget the 5 second rule. If a decent chunk of a chocolate covered hobnob touches the floor then its back in my mouth before you can blink. Thinking about it I probably hold the world record.
ImBlue Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 Ah yes, I forgot they trump technology. Enjoy the season ticket. I wonder if you are that annoying 12 year old near my old man and brother. He is a 45 Pace on Fifa dude, which is sent in by representatives around the club I believe. That's an indication. He may well be registered as the slowest player at the club now Upson has gone. I know fifa isn't an exactly science and they get things slightly wrong, but a very very fast centre back should be around 80
Collymore Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 I'm surprised that people think Vardy is that quick. Probably the 4th or 5th quickest in the squad over 100m. His strength lies in his stamina and work rate.
dayday Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 Quickest players in the prem this weekend . 1st Jamie Vardy 2nd Jenkinson 8th Jeff Sclupp Most miles covered 5th Andy King 8th Danny Drinkwater 10th Marc Albrighton Top effort from the lads

Oh and it's debatable as to whether that's even relevant as isn't the WHOLE pitch 100m ish? not sure anyone needs to run from one line to the other
