Jon the Hat Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 You're moaning about the minimum wage going up? presumably it hasn't gone up enough, along with zero income tax not being low enough etc.

Frank to be Posted 2 September 2015 Posted 2 September 2015 Just imagine the fate of all those who didn't know how to get legal help. Oh wait, they're probably dead. We live in a country where our rulers take advantage of their most vulnerable citizens to the point of death, and people say we don't need change?
Rincewind Posted 2 September 2015 Posted 2 September 2015 Legal aid has near enough been phased out. Too many less well off people were using it to go up against those that can pay and some were actually winning and we cannot have that happening. Also it does not look right if the government is asking the taxpayer to pay the cost of a case in which they are involved for the prosecution and defendant.
The Railway Man Posted 2 September 2015 Posted 2 September 2015 Never read so much bullshit as the last couple of posts, clearly know nothing about how legal aid works.

Anyone who understands executive pay would tell you that. Funny how long term incentives which actually hold execs accountable for long term performance and loyalty are now a bad thing!
Carl the Llama Posted 3 September 2015 Posted 3 September 2015 Anyone who understands executive pay would tell you that. Funny how long term incentives which actually hold execs accountable for long term performance and loyalty are now a bad thing! ACSI chief executive Louise Davidson said there was nothing untoward about the way in which earnings are declared, but shareholders might welcome another way of judging whether rewards are excessive compared to the return on their investments. Or in other words, the problem isn't the existence of these bonuses but the sheer size of them in relation to what these people actually do and their value for that money. And that's not even broaching any of the ethical implications.

Rincewind Posted 8 September 2015 Posted 8 September 2015 A good article on IDS Just over a year ago but still relevant and as thought provoking today In my view. http://www.ekklesia.co.uk/node/20540

Jon the Hat Posted 8 September 2015 Posted 8 September 2015 Definitely dangerous then! If you are going to run off and play war games against the big boys, don't be surprised if they bring their big boys toys to the table.

Buce Posted 8 September 2015 Author Posted 8 September 2015 One of the comments on the Mail link "I think he was young and naive and didn't know what he was doing,I mean, fancy having your photo taken with Ed Balls." There's actually something rather sinister going on in that article: note the subtle link of the jihadi and Ed Balls? ".. (he) was killed six years after meeting Ed Balls". Now, although this is neuro-linguistic programming at it its crudest, its aim is to establish a subconcious link in the reader's mind between Islamic terrorism and Ed Balls, and by extension, the Labour Party. Just another example of how the unsuspecting electorate are manipulated.
Steven Posted 8 September 2015 Posted 8 September 2015 Don't various members of this Government a "clear and present threat " to some people in the UK. After it has to be a fact that as a consequence of decisions made by the Government people's lives will be knowingly placed in immediate and ongoing jeopardy. I find it hypocritical and somewhat smug, that one group of people can gloss over the above and still use this excuse to kill other UK citizens. I have nothing against terminating these Jihadis, but I do have an issue with the way in which the justification is not evenly applied.

Buce Posted 8 September 2015 Author Posted 8 September 2015 i was thinking what on earth has that got to do with Ed Balls as if they had a meeting afterwards and were in cahoots. That's how you were programmed to think; from now on, even though you might consciously reject it, in your deep sub-conscious you will link Ed Balls with IS. You are now part of the Matrix. There is no longer any such thing as 'truth', only what your Masters want you to believe is truth.
