15 to 20. More than Ulloa for example at 12 but not as much as some who have gone for 20 recently. He is in form, but he has atm not shown that consistently. If he went on to have another good season with us next term then he will then be worth as much as any other top prem striker.

Having said that, I wonder what Kane is valued at right now. I would say that in terms of where they are they are both at the same stage. I bet Kane would be worth more just because he plays for Spurs. I suppose he is younger too.

20-25mil

Not injury prone, seems to have a good engine, found his feet in this League, Homegrown and would expect to sell to a club with silly money so squeeze some value out of him. Only negatives are his age limiting him to 2-3 seasons at least, lack experience at a top club and all the risk of just not settling and doing a Lambert at Liverpool, I'd say Vardy is lower risk in that case definitely though

Van Nistelrooy was 30 when he left Man Utd in 2006 and he was a beast playing for arguable the best team in the country getting 25+ goals a season guaranteed and he left for a mere 14 million Euros, I don't know what that is in today's money but it puts things into perspective

Yeah, but Ferguson was a stubborn old goat who didn't like the fact that he "only scored goals".

Sold for too little because he had Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez coming in, and Beckham booted out, so he needed a new system.

Vardy is totally different, in the prime of his career (still 28 actually) and to us absolutely priceless. Would be gutted if he left for £30m. He's worth several league places to us, and selling him at any price would show a lack of ambition.

Hopefully, all the eejits on here suggesting he's worth less are of a mind with the people who might buy him, and we can invite them to foxtrot oscar.

15-20million. Let's be serious he's 28 now and will most likely struggle to even hit 10 again next season

Be serious? Less than 20million?? Couldn't buy half of Benteke for that, and Vardy is better atm, and suits our system.

We all know how valuable he is to us, but I ask of you learned people who would you do a straight swap for, no cash changing hands just a straight swop?

Aguero, except he's made of glass and laggy bands, so no.

Martial, maybe, mostly cos he's young.

Sanchez obvs.

Sturridge, Walcott and Remy are too injured.

Ings has the stench of Liverpool round his neck and isn't as good.

Costa's a bell.

Bony is like for like, no thanks.

Lukaku. Ok, would take that.

Benteke maybe, but he went missing a lot last season.

Kane, no thanks, not shown any ability to keep it going.

Rooney lol

Messi yes, Ronaldo probably, James yes, Neymar maybe, but don't believe he'd cut it in England.

Suarez....maybe. But he's a nob.

Other positions, de Gea, Courtois, De Bruyne, Bellerin, Silva. Genuinely think that for us to replace him we need players of that calibre. And I don't think the clubs those guys play for would swap him, so happy days!

Realistically he is worth 15million. However in our financial position and what he's worth to is I think we'd be completely mad to except anything below 30 million

He is worth so so much to us because if he was to go, we wouldn't be able to find a replacement like him.

The only replacement I can think of would be aubameyang and itd cost about 30m to hear him say nah.

We are getting seriously carried away here. He's had a good start to the season and he's 29. That's it! As much as I like him he's hardly a proven 20 goal a year striker.

No club would pay more than 10-15m max.

To put him in the 40m+ bracket is stupid.

You can't put a value on him.

Unless you play Football Manager.

What would the customer be buying? A number in terms of age or a football personality? I'd say very much the latter and an adaptable one who's willing and capable of learning and who gives absolutely everything as an individual and team player game in, game out and is one of the quickest in the world in his position and effective with it.

That amounts to a lot of pluses if he were down on my list of potential choices. I liked him from the start but he's far more capable than I first realised. In jewellery terms he's a grade A Kashmir sapphire or, put another way, as good as it gets in the blue shirt of Leicester City and I've no wish for us to sell him whatever we might be offered.

But, to answer rather than hedge the question:-

As an inform Premiership striker who's into double figures in goals before Christmas and is as fit as any and with a good few miles left on the clock I'd reckon those things alone are worth £25m

Add on his incredible attitude, commitment, willingness to play with broken wristbones and I'd say that was collectively worth another 10m because you're likely to get full-time value rather than the kind who takes any excuse to have a week or two off.

Then there's his team ethic, ability to improve and his iconic value in terms of the team's character, make-up and marketability. Surely that must add another £10m because there are very few players with his kind of irrepressible charisma.

And if "no club would pay more than £10-£15m", why would we even consider selling him?

You should think again.

benteke proved it over a few seasons.

Vardy's run is been short in reality If he had played like this for 2 years and scored 20+ goals a season I think it would up is price.

Alot of people are saying he is worth 30 million to us well i agree he is "our" most valuable player and it would be stupid to sell him but no club would fork out that sort of money for him.

What a strange poll ....    the first five bandings are an insult.       Wilfried Bony cost £28m ....   which one would you rather have ?

Wilfred Bony has averaged a goal every other game his whole career in top leagues

Posted

Imagine his price tag if he was 5 years younger.

:nigel:

But thats just it ...   he is probably fitter, and will remain so, than someone 5 years younger than him.

(Took me ages to post this cus of that bloody women on your post ....    had to roll my tongue back in.)

Less first-team, high level football = less wear on the knees.

I hope no one else figures this out.
