johnny the fox Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Hate to say this... but I didn't think our Gary looked in peak health on Match of the Day tonight. Thought he looked a bit thinner in the neck area and generally tired at times. Hope it's nothing. When you get the old turkey neck..its only a matter of time.
Webbo Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 A word from a sage. If I was a sage I'd be minted.
Alf Bentley Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 If I was a sage I'd be minted. I'd like to ginger things up but fear that I can no longer cut the mustard.
Rincewind Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Thyme. Thanks for the auto correct. It.did not look right ant the spellchecker only came up up with 'time'

MikeyT Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Bloody hell January has been a cursed month for celebs!
johnny the fox Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 British icon..Wogan. shame. still no cure for cancer..
Larry_LCFC Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Wogan was a bit of a ledge. Sad to hear he's died.
Wymsey Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 I watched a programme with him on, about Scotland isles or something, and thought he seemed quite feint. RIP, he is quite 'one of a kind' with his kind genuine character; had no arrogance in him like most fellow presenters we know today.
Wycombe Fox Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Anyone got Terry Wogan? The Grim Reaper. RIP
ramboacdc Posted 31 January 2016 Author Posted 31 January 2016 Jesus at this rate this thread will be nearly 500 pages long.
Izzy Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Genuinely sad about the death of Terry Wogan. A real national treasure and a lovely bloke by all accounts. He also did an amazing job with Children in need and helped raise millions for charity in his time. He'll be sadly missed by many. A true 'one off'.

Alf Bentley Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 After 42 years, the notorious Lord Lucan may finally be dead: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-35481376 "Lord Lucan is now presumed to be dead, a High Court judge has ruled" Or is he? Important issues raised by Brighton band The Dodgems in 1978 have yet to be answered: - Is he in the Clermont Club? - Or in the South of France, playing on a roulette wheel in another game of chance? - Is he dead up on the Downs, rotting in the grass? - Or is he hidden behind the cloak of the British ruling class?
Rincewind Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 How old was he when he went missing? About 40 according to the article so he would have been 81. Quite possible dead natural or unnatural causes.
