In the pre season I was slating Simpson, at Lincoln shouting for him to get out our club after the stuff that happened off the pitch

But now he's had his punishment by the court and back onto a clean slate and he has been amazing so far this season and I can't fault his effort, the look on his face today after the game cheering with the fans he really has swayed my opinion of him

End of the day, I think when players cross the white line you can only judge them on their performances. Yeah you might not wanna go for a beer with the guy but even people who were the most vocal about him in the summer would be mad to argue he hasn't improved the team since he took his chance. Keep doing what you're doing Danny I say.

He's doing much better now that he's got his match fitness back, getting forward to support attacks and even getting shots away. I still think Benny could offer us the same impact that Fuchs has. But I can also understand why CR doesn't want to change anything.
