I make remarks, over his predictions, hes put himself up in the public domain. Its football banter, nothing more. Even if Mark Lawrenson, is good or poor I couldnt give a damn, like him I will throw in silly remarks. He might be the perfect pundit troll, SO..!!! SOME on this forum, take it far too seriously.Too tribal, but then again, so are pubs, and majority of football fans. Sort of...We all like it when our rivals say we are great, but even when we know, we have been poor (not this year) No outsiders especially pundits,have the right to trash us, only we have that right...

Nothing at all, just making the point that he's been bashed for Liverpool love in and you have them down to do better than him. If I had to say who I think will win I'd say you as I think his under estimation of Watford and West Ham could let him down (again) but we will see Nope, I'm not the one making out the mans a moron for predicting football results unlike you lot I have a full appreciation of how hard it is.

Would you hate him less if he predicted us to lose 4-0 every week rather than 1-0? You miss my point. If for example Man City were playing Villa, it's a stonewall 3-0. If they play a mid table team its a 2-1. Its the most common scorelines and he knows a lot will be wrong but it will level itself out enough for him to not be bottom. Which is fine if this is the Mark Lawrenson ego page, but it isn't. Its actually put into the pre match build up on the BBC website and the man gets paid.

I'm surprised, to be honest: when we played Newcastle at St James's Park, he had them down to win 2-1, on the basis that they had beaten Bournemouth the week before - with their only shot on goal.

Because as a few people have mentioned, it's not the score that piss people off its the nonsensical reasoning behind them. So can I suggest the weekly predictor does a little write up for each match?

Football does not always follow the form book, if he wants to say he has a feeling team a will beat team b because he has a gut feeling that's his call, thousands do it every week on their coupons. Form switches, good runs end upsets happen And you may say its the reasons plenty others calling out the scores, so here we see. City fourth good for Stan, needs a Norwich goal.

Over to Finaldo to try and level things up for the forum. Finaldo won the gig by pointing out he correctly blamed wellens for a solid 24 months, a solid background.

I just have a major annoyance at how many times he's predicted Leicester to lose and it shows in his prediction table compared to the actual table.

Credit to you for at least having a go though, plenty of loud mouths in the other thread going through his weekly predictions with a fine tooth comb who haven't thrown their hats into the ring.
