Can we carry, a poor Febuary, then hit back, recover top 4.?

Win the 2 home games. Then what ever comes from man city and arsenal is a bonus. I think we will get a positive result at either city arsenal too.

if we win our two games at home vs 7th and 17th place then it'd take either man city or arsenal to win all their games to take us off top (or joint top) position.

city play spurs and arsenal go to united, and both play us (top of the league).

The result at Arsenal, this week, was massive; it means tthat as long as we beat the scousers, we can afford to lose both away games and still only be three points adrift.

And out of our remaining twelve, as far as I can see, we won the reverse fixture in all but two cases (draw v Saints and Man U). With Arsenal still to play City, and both still to play Spurs, the others will drop points.

We can do this!

I think it's good that we are playing City and Arsenal away. They will be forced as the home teams to take the game to us and as we know this plays into our counter attacking hands. Plus we owe Liverpool one!

We've had our blip - draw Liverpool, beat Man City, draw Arsenal, beat Norwich - end February on 55 points

Meanwhile at Man City - beat Sunderland, lose to Leicester, lose to Spurs, beat Newcastle - end February on 50 points

And at Arsenal - beat Southampton, beat Bournemouth, draw Leicester, lose to Man Utd (after LVG has left) - end February on 51 points

4 points clear going into March!

its also pretty pessimistic to look just at our next 3 and cry about them being a bit tricky compared to some other fixtures.

after them three our fixtures are;

home vs 17th

home vs 14th

away vs 10th

home vs 18th

away vs 11th

home vs 8th

away vs 19th

home vs 6th

home vs 15th

we don't play anyone even remotely good except west ham (in 11 games time) and even that's at home. i'd be pretty upset if we didn't go unbeaten in those 9 games, especially when in the return fixtures we dropped just 2 points. we could lose our next 3 by an aggregate score of about 15-0 and as long as we win our EASY GAMES which we are now famed for we will still win the league.

imo we're playing arsenal and city at just the right time, we've got a mojo back that we had much of the first part of the season. Confidence is high, the players are playing without expectation and freely.

I said we'd get 7 points from the 4 games. We got 3 against stoke, I expect 3 against Liverpool.

i like to think that if we beat liverpool and man city slip up and say draw we then go into the man city game and a win would put a 8 point gap between us and them thats a 3 game margin and we have a run in that could yield a lot of points

Jeez, can you believe the folk on here.  I'm still not convinced we're staying up  :D

I said 10 points from the next 5 - that was prior to Stoke. 7 from 4 then.

BTW I am going to be massively p***ed off when I wake up from this coma to find that were relegated last april.
